Stay with the most authentic safari feeling

One of the most tastefully furnished lodges on our Namibia trip. Excellent food, friendly and attentive staff, a relaxed and peaceful stay. Located very close to the entrance of Etosha National Park.

Mushara is really a top place,absolutely recommended

You have lodges and lodges, this is great. Seven km from Etosha, beautiful relaxation area and restaurant. A curioshop with nice stuff and normally priced, a lovely swimming pool. The staff jumps out on all sides, perfectly balanced, proud self-confident people. The food is fine, also here just a bit better than elsewhere, which is usually very good. As far as we are concerned, highly recommended.
We hope to come back here again.

Very enjoyable stay in this lodge with old world charm

Our agency booked us to stay here as it is close to the Etosha Namutoni gate. The lodge has a very old world and genteel feel. Everything feels relaxed and not crowded , as there are not many units overall. We were graciously welcomed at reception (forgot the name, apologies) and brought to our room which was a very spacious triple room with 2 separate bedrooms. Everything was well appointed and clean with all the things you need and the bathroom/WC area was massive.
We love the decor of the rooms and the lodge in general which is understated and has a sense of place. The common lounging and pool areas were very pleasant to sit around and relax in, we also bought a couple of souvenirs from the sizeable and well stocked gift shop.
Meals at the dining and breakfast area were delicious and well cooked. For comparison, some of our group tour members stayed in the neighboring Mushara bush camp. The rooms /facilities and meals offered in the bush camp were definitely not as luxurious as the lodge but the rates are considerably lower. The camp has more of a boma/outdoor feel vs the lodge which has a "pioneers/old world" feel so you can choose accordingly.

Great!

Two nights at Mushara Lodge. Superb place with ultra comfortable bungalow.
Beautiful interior fittings in public areas and rooms and exterior. Quality cuisine. There is nothing missing in the rooms (kettle pastries, tea, coffee, French sockets available,...).

Luxury in the perfect Etosha location

We had a wonderful stay at Mushara Lodge and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Etosha. The lodge has a real sense of understated luxury — elegant, and beautifully designed without ever feeling over the top. From the spacious chalets to the stylish lounge, bar, and dining areas, everything feels thoughtful, comfortable, and refined.
The room was extremely spacious and well equipped, and it was such a pleasure to return after a day of game viewing to such a relaxing setting. The swimming pool and gardens added to the feeling of tranquility, and the whole property feels like a true oasis just a short distance from Etosha’s Von Lindequist Gate.
What made the stay even more special was the warm, attentive service. The staff were friendly, professional, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout. The food was also excellent, with delicious homemade meals that really added to the overall experience.
If you are looking for a lodge that combines comfort, elegance, great service, and a perfect location near Etosha, Mushara Lodge is an excellent choice. We left wishing we had stayed longer.
