Blue Whale you deserve this review

We had a 1 .onth business trip in Namibia. We had to stay at alit of places because it is where our business meetings took us. We were a group of 8 and I had to write this review o behalf of 8 of us because this hotel ticked all the boxes..
The location is stunning—right by the water with peaceful views and a refreshing breeze. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. I ordered the seafood platter, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing—ideal for both casual meals and special occasions. Even though I didn’t stay overnight, the facilities looked clean and well-kept.
Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Walvis Bay, whether you’re staying at the hotel or just passing through for a meal or a drink!
Maxine and Carly was our help staff through out our stay and they were so caring towards us. Thank you Carly and Maxine.

Great service, friendly staff and good food

The stay was made very good by the quality of the staff, they were very friendly and attentive. Additionally, breakfast options were good and so was the range of drinks available at the bar & the quality of the food at the restaurant was great. The room itself needed some attention, specifically the aircon was not cold and the fridge needed to be defrosted as there was some noise during the evening. The balcony door needs some attention as well, this was very difficult to open.

Blue Whale Hotel

My stay at the Blue Whale Hotel in the Walvis Bay lagoon area was outstanding! The hotel's location is perfect, offering breathtaking views of the lagoon and easy access to nearby attractions. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious, featuring a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The hotel's amenities, including the pool and spa, were top-notch and added to the overall experience. I highly recommend the Blue Whale Hotel for an unforgettable stay in Walvis Bay!

Worst Experience every !

Don't be fooled by the friendly reception check-in.
Warm welcome upon arrival, but also greeted by an unfriendly smell (place smell of something out of the garbage dumps)
Very bad maintenance, floor decks damaged, paint coming off the walls, damaged sealings to name but a few. The room was not that bad, but the cent of some sort of spray or something gives you the feeling they trying to cover up a bad small.
Then you get to breakfast and the most unpleasant person, who cant even great you just wants to know your room number. other than that you have to ask her everything. no official warm greeting for a breakfast that didn't look to bad (I never had anything)
Begged for a cup of coffee which she planted on the table not asking if I want milk or guiding me where to find any ? Then after 20min (because she was hiding in the kitchen most of the time) I asked here please inform me how does breakfast work she mumbled something and kept walking around without me having any info yet of how the hell do i get a warm breakfast in this place ? That's when I left. They will never see me again and i do not recommend this experience to anyone SO STAY AWAY !!!!

Booking

We had a wonderful time, the service was amazing as well as customer care. The only problem was with the booking, which was not properly honoured. Had there been no funds, one would have got in trouble, as the amount given and confirmed was not the same, even though one of the people hadn't turned out, we still had to pay more than what was confirmed with the booking agency. Will you please take note of this, as such action would render the company unreliable.
