Checking in and checking out was easy. Never had the opportunity to meet any employees. The hotel is budget-friendly and good for a short or weekend stay.

The room was not cleaned for my entire stay except for more towels ( used towels remained.)including garbage cans not emptied. There were no drinking glasses, kettle or complementary tea and coffee in the room. It was suggested I use paper cups in the small guest reception room. The low budget breakfast offered was okay. The reception staff were excellent communicators who worked as a team. They were all responsible and accountable when I requested to extend my stay. They are good at problem solving, anticipating their guest needs. The hotel is overpriced. If I were not a loyal hotels.com member-for years. would consider another website.

Nice clean room. Close to the tram line so convenient for going to the city centre. The other Citybox hotel is in a better location for the centre. It is impersonal in terms of self check in etc and breakfast is not included. Would expect more for the price tbh.

Five for price/quality
It was the most affordable of those rated over 8 , and we weren't wrong! Interesting electronic reception system, equipped in the canteen with the possibility to take hot water (cold everywhere from podran chic )), microwave and toaster! The rooms are ascetic, clean and modern!
The only observation is the smudged windows((But this seems to be a problem for the whole of Norway))

Love the location. Great rate. Very simple but clean. The only thing that might throw people is the shower and bathroom are all open. No shower door. Staff was very helpful we were trying to track down a place to get a passport photo done and the front office girl told us that we could get it done at the Oslo airport where we were flying(she was correct). Also had a computer so we could print out documentation.
