Fantastic

This hotel has a fantastic character. It deals with the local history of Sandefjord as a whaling town and you get a completely unique experience and feeling of this history all around in several rooms. The dining room is very beautiful and special when it comes to embracing this history. The rooms are large, bright and beautiful. Large good bathrooms and a lovely atmosphere. The bed we had in our room was quite firm and the pillows were good, so we got a lovely night's sleep It is extra great to get a delicious dinner in the evening included in the price. The staff both at reception and in the dining room were very nice, welcoming, cheerful and service-minded. Really recommend a stay at this hotel.

All inclusive food in historic area

Super historical place. Rooms are good & can be a little modernised.
I really liked the staff and the variety of food from fika to dinner all inclusive in the room cost aswell as the breakfast.
It was seated in a maritime setting with a great story of the fishermen and whale workers.
It is like sleeping on historic ground.
Breakfast and meals were served in a wooden boat if i remember right.
They have a nice bar and some games on the bookshelf.
Get your best stay at strawberry home hotel in Sandefjord.

House with whaler charm

Older house with a nice lobby, original restaurant, good breakfast, and friendly reception. The city center is within walking distance. The tiles in the bathroom and stairwell already have more than minor damage. The room is suitable for two people, nothing more. We found the dinner to be average, with top marks for the soup.

The hotel is in a central part of the city and a 5 minute walk to the train station. It was easy to take a day trip into Oslo.
It’s a short walk to the mall and waterfront. Sandefjord is a beautiful city.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. . Food was very good too. I would recommend this hotel
