Good breakfast.

New nice room, good breakfast. Good view from 341. Near Paradise Bay, nice to swim there.

Stay away if you can

The room seems to have not been renovated since the hotel was opened 30 years ago, bathroom was full of mould, furniture in terrible condition, the bed not good, just terrible. This was my n the 4th floor, window was from floor to sealing, and you could open it fully and just walk out to a 12 meters drop. It’s actually illegal to rent out this room because of this window, hopefully nobody with children will stay there. The pictures from the website seems to be from some other hotel..

A little better... but...

Tired hotel which (apparently) has refurbished some rooms. Tryed one of the new rooms, but was disappointed. Fine colors but the TV did not work, small, and ice-cold bathroom. Old, odorous rugs in the hallways. Drive away...but unfortunately there are not so many options in the area...

Not coming back

We ordered "family room". 0 bar sealing on the window in neither 3 etg or breakfast hall. The first thing that happens is that the 2-year-old opens the window in the room, life-threatening!! In fact, one expects such windows to be secure.
First time we are at a hotel where we have to re up the bed ourselves Gave notice in advance that we needed the sofa bed too, but think it has not been noted. That was not the biggest problem. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Very halfway in the room, lamps that swing, shampoo and conditioner lay on the floor when the holder was broken. Dirty through walls, and potato gold and food in the couch.
Dirty on walls at tables in the breakfast hall.
Not the best hotel experience exactly, could never go here alone with several climbing little children. Probably won't come back, unfortunately.
Skilled staff, but a lot to take on of other things.

A shame for the hotel industry

This is the worst hotel I have stayed in the last 20 years:
The facade is so flawed it embarrasses the city
The rooms are from 1970 - century and completely worn out
No ventilation in the room
The bathroom is so disgusting that I didn't want to shower there
This hotel is a shame for the city and industry—but not unusual in Strawberry.
"Strawberry-special"

Beklager at forventningene ikke ble innfridd under oppholdet hos oss.
Høsten 2025 totalrenoverte vi 50 hotellrom i to etasjer - disse rommene får vi gode tilbakemeldinger på.
Noen rom gjenstår å fornye, og det er nok et av disse kommentaren gjelder.
Jeg håper at vi snart kan fornye disse rommene også, og at vi ser deg igjen ved en senere anledning.
