Nice place for fishing and sun

Great place on the brewery edge. Large nice apartments with kitchen and good patio.
The host at the front desk was very helpful and cozy.
In the area there were both owned apartments and rentals.
Super nice to have the apartments located right down the bridge. Just jumping in the water when you want. And if msn loves fishing it's one good place.
I would have lived there again if we were on those edges.

God Seng.
Støyende luft avluft system.
Det var mange ledige rom med utsikt, likevel ble vi plassert i et rom uten noe utsikt.

Beautiful Views, Spacious Apartments, Nice Staff

We were only in Tysnes for 1 night and needed a base to explore some family connections. I was traveling with my parents, so it was good to have separate bedrooms. The living area was large and enabled us all to stretch out and relax. The kitchen was well-equipped. The semi-private deck outside, overlooking the harbor, was also a bonus. We needed a bit of help with directions around the island, and the front-desk staff was more than helpful. As a matter of fact, any questions we had were graciously addressed. I was warned that we would need to pay more for linens, so thankfully that was not a surprise.

It had much better times

We have returned after a week in Norway, four days at this hotel; the only reason we booked it was that no other hotel was available in Bergen and 40 km round the city; Iron Maiden played a concert in Bergen that period and we're not aware about this.
However this is not a hotel, just a place were you may rent an appartment - one living/kitchen, one bathroom, one or two bedrooms. No other services available, even for extra cost.
Bed linen and towels not included, you either bring yours or rent from the owner at the price of 150 NOK per person (round 20 EUR); one roll of toilet paper given at arrival, if you need more you go to the supermarket. No breakfast available.
Pluses:
- position - it is on the shore of a fjord on Tysness island; the place is fabulos, as well as the entire island. Quiet that I've not had anywhere, very clean water. In front of the building it is a wooden deck of 5 meters and than you may jump the water (if not cold);
- kitchen - very well equipped with everything one may need;
- friendly people;
Minuses:
- bed linen and towels that we were provided for 150 NOK per person were of a poor quality and questionable how good it were cleaned from the last usage;
- price is far to much - 250 EUR for a night; even for this price everyone has to clean its room, to dispose the garbage to the container, to wash the dishes and so on.
It is visible that some years ago this was a real hotel, with a very nice view, with a restaurant, breakfast, added value services and so on; now there are just the remains of a hotel, i.e. a place where you may rent a place to sleep.
If I would go there again ? Probably yes in 10 years time if the owners will make it back a hotel; for sure no, never, if it will stay like it is today.

Heel vriendelijk ontvangen, ook goed en snel contact vóóraf op vragen.
We zijn hier maar 1 nacht geweest ter overbugging van onze reis van Stavanger naar Bergen.
Klein appartement/studio met keuken, prima voor 2 personen. Goed bed, nette badkamer, lekkere douche. Bed was opgemaakt, handdoeken aanwezig.
De kleinere kamers hebben geen uitzicht op het fjord. Onze kamer keek op de kleine waterval naast het complex. Door het geluid van ruisend water heerlijk geslapen maar kan me voorstellen dat je er last van kan hebben.
Er is een wasmachine in het complex mocht je langer willen verblijven
Mooie omgeving.
