Settlers motel is comvient and financially viable. If you looking to stay some where cheap and close to Wellington city. The linon and towels are clean

Some expected items in room missing. Staff generally efficient but the fact there were missing items had not been picked up. Appreciate the novel built-in seat in shower at this motel.

Fraudsters! Avoid at all costs!! They steal money from their customers!!

This establishment stole money from us. Several hours after I checked out, they called me and accused me of stealing a microwave and kettle without providing any proof whatsoever, just the word of one of their "supervisors". They then proceeded to charge our credit card for over $300 without notifying us. This is credit card fraud. Do not stay here unless you are willing to subject yourself to credit card fraud. Anyone who knows us would realize that it is laughable that we would ever steal anything. We have stayed at numerous establishments and never had any issues. When I phoned them to try and get our money back, they were very unprofessional and refused to provide us with any proof even though they claim have CCTV cameras. The fact is they do not have any proof, hence they are unable to provide this to us.

Everything was ok with my stay but one thing .
I was staying for two nights and on the second day stay about midday I asked if the rooms were going to be serviced as I had been out all morning and returned ti find room not been done.
They said the room was going too be and that they had been running a little behind which I know happens from time to time.
I went back out returning later that night to find that my room still had nit been serviced.
No fresh towels....out of coffee and tea making stuff....not even bed made.
Sorry that was such a let down and not being able to make hot drinks on my return.
No problem with anything else but this was such a big over site and let down .

Was a comfortable room which was clean and well presented.Would have been nice to have some milk and some face flannels
