Cosy - clean - and just lovely
I met Penny in reception. She greeted me so warmly i instantly felt welcome.
Now ive sleept a perfect night on i must say the most excellent madress.
I go out to the WC - which is in the corrodor . Immaculately clean , and man greets me in the corridor ( in my undies ) its 6.40 am ( dark outside) he says “ morning- there is fresh coffee in the kitchen if u want “
This place may be old style for some - but i tell you all
It sure is the right way for me . Thanks for wonderfull stay

Home away from home
We loved our weekend at Penny's. The owners are very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable - our room had 3 single beds but there were only the two us so plenty of room. Penny's was easy to find and as a bus stop outside and also has plenty of parking. The shared toilet and bathroom were clean and had a soap dispenser. The kitchen had free tea, coffee and milk and a TV in the dinig room. Wifi is included in the very reasonable tariff.

Perfect for my first time in Palmerston North
I stay here for 6 days. The room was nice. Very clean and comfort room. They gave me extra blanket. It is a big room for single guest. The shower and toilet was clean also. They provides soap. The wifi is good. The kitchen is awesome, I cooked twice and they have all you need. Great hospitality from staff, they can always help you and give extra service, just ask for it. There's a bus stop right in front of the accommodation.

Short notice stay and friendly welcome.
Located just a few blocks out of the CBD, So walking distance is fine. It's a safe place to stay and the walk there after hours is well lit. Friendly stay and parking on-site is fine. Rooms are clean and Bathrooms are easy to find.

Poor
I was expecting a lovely hotel room, which should have been clean.
I was greeted nicely, but that was the end of the niceness about the accommodation.
My room was dirty, vacuumed around the furniture, not underneath it. So dust and dirt and bits of crisps never been moved.
I was quite disgusted that I was to share a bathroom and toilet.
The toilet was not clean, I didn’t use the shower either which also was not clean.
I was told that I could use the kitchen downstairs at any time,but when I went to use it in the morning it was locked.
The road was noisy, so was the stairs, not carpeted, and the other guests were loud.
I would say that this is more of a student accommodation, and even a backpackers, not a hotel.
Very disappointed.
