Centrally located with parking makes it an ideal choice for an overnight if you are seeing a play, show or concert.

Unclean, leaky ceiling, will not return

I would not recommend staying here and wish we had chosen elsewhere. Cleanliness and maintenance were consistently poor, with dirty crockery, dust, mould in the bathroom, and a strong musty smell. There were multiple issues including a leaking roof, swollen door frames, non-working lights, minimal kitchen supplies, and significant noise between rooms, making the stay very uncomfortable. They upgraded us to a different room, but the same uncleanliness standards were there.

Literally one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. No front desk. No phone to call so had to figure out how to use mine for international call. Leaking roof. Rotting meat in pan in communal kitchen stove. Rancid smell. Broken glass in room in floor. My poor 13 year old I had to deal with it for 2 nights because I didn’t have a phone to call front desk in my room for help and internet not connecting enough to use my WiFi calling for international call. Plus it was pouring outside and my son and I have been traveling for a month and were so tired and couldn’t deal with finding a new place and schlepping ok our stuff again as we were leaving Wellington in 2 nights time. I literally changed our flights to leave that place asap. Truly awful. So much to say. Nothing good….oh wait the bed was actually ok but no heat in room besides a sketchy space heater and no extr blanket or pillows which were basically nonexistent. But no bed bugs so that was a win.

Was a basic and cheap motel which suited the 5 of us in a two bedroom apartment for the weekend. We were hardly there in the day.
Not the cleanest or flashest but affordable.
Kitchen with jug, toaster, stove top, microwave, fridge and all basic cooking utensils available.
Great location, walking distance to town or water front.
Staff were lovely and helpful when we needed things.
Parking available but very tight and a steep driveway to get up to the carpark.

Crap

Room was FREEZING heater didnt work, place was filthy, it wouldnt take much to dust the skerting boards, and wipe surfaces down and spray abit of exit mold onto shower box etc, and the staff were fairly friendly , but could not speak English.. and also we wanted a late check out .. they were going to charge us am extra 30! To checkout at 12pm..
The place was really empty..
And they stayed on me to pay the $30 sp hard that I just was like..omg I might as well go. She stood outside my room for like 15minutes and then I went to reception, I couldn't get hold of my husband to transfer me more money.. and she literally bailed me up for like another 20minutes.. so long story short it was crappy
