Nice hotel with a perfect location in Amsterdam!
What a fantastic hotel! We were incredibly satisfied with our stay at Hotel Estheréa in Amsterdam. The hotel is really lovely, with a very own charm, lovely interior and a warm and pleasant atmosphere.
The location is perfect, right in the centre, with Amsterdam right outside the door. Here we have had a short walk to both shopping, restaurants, canals and all the cosy streets the city has to offer.
A hotel that really gave the little extra and made our Amsterdam tour even better. We will be more than happy to return! ❤️✨

Charming boutique hotel in an excellent location
We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Estherea. The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring Amsterdam on foot.
The hotel itself is beautifully decorated in a very chic boutique style, with an enormous amount of character. The public areas are quite lavish, and there is a huge selection of complimentary beverages and cookies available for guests. The resident cats were an unexpected bonus and certainly added to the charm of the hotel.
Our room was beautifully presented and exceptionally well equipped. The bathroom in particular was impressive, with quality L’Occitane toiletries, and the overall level of amenities was comparable to what we have experienced in many five-star hotels. There were also lovely little touches such as slippers and a coffee machine.
Reception staff were consistently friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The only thing prospective guests should be prepared for is the size of the room. Ours was absolutely miniature. It was beautifully designed and they had made clever use of every available centimetre, but with luggage there was very little room to move around. If space is important to you, I would strongly recommend booking one of the larger room categories.
Overall, though, a charming and memorable boutique hotel with excellent service, beautiful décor and a superb location. We would happily stay again — but next time in a bigger room!

Luxury in the Heart of Amsterdam
I found this hotel months ago while searching the internet just for fun. It’s absolutely exquisite in decor and so comfortable and luxurious. They helped our stay in every way possible. We enjoyed the breakfast which was off the charts and even the bar later in the day. Finally the location of the hotel was perfect for walking around and we found awesome restaurants right in the neighborhood. Would love to return if we ever come back to Amsterdam.

The Hotel Estherea is a wonderful boutique hotel option for enjoying Amsterdam. Well-located along the Singel canal, many central locations are accessible by foot, including Dam Square; Anne Frank House; the “adult entertainment” districts (across the span of sexual orientation); shops of every type; the flower market; and public transport within a few blocks.
Of special note, the interior decorations and traditional style of the lobby; the sitting rooms and library offer a very accessibly-elegant and quiet atmosphere in which to relax from the crowds and rush of Amsterdam’s populated, if still-charming cobbled streets and narrow by-ways. And the Estherea staff offers wonderful treats and refreshments in their relaxation room off of the lobby throughout the day and evening. Tea and coffees and hot chocolate are readily available, all at self-service and no additional fees. YAY!!!
While our preferred canal view rooms were unavailable, given their popularity, we were situated in a wonderfully-furnished room, again traditionally-decorated, with very comfortable bedding and several easy-chairs. Our bathroom was definitely an upgrade, with both a jetted-soaking tub and a separate stall shower, along with double sinks. While the room is smaller given United States standards, it felt very well-organized and comfortable for my husband and myself … and again, the overall feel is sumptuous given its elegant decor and chandeliers and lighting. We look forward to future stays!!

Very cute hotel
Super cute hotel. Coffee and water in the lobby at all times was a nice touch. Nice toiletries. Highly recommend.
