Nice Hotel in a Great Location

We recently stayed at De Borgh Hotel and overall had a pleasant stay. The hotel is in a great location and the rooms were very spacious, clean and well presented. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and polite throughout our visit, which we appreciated.
However, there were a couple of downsides. We personally found the beds and pillows quite uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
We were also disappointed with our experience in the restaurant on one evening. We had been sitting at the same table for most of the day enjoying drinks and relaxing, but at 6pm we were told the table had been reserved and that we needed to move. Unfortunately, no alternative table was offered to us, so we felt a little unwelcome at that point and decided to leave instead.
Despite this, the hotel itself was nice and the location was very convenient for our trip.

Land-friendly & Care & Fresh products

Nice rooms & good breakfast and dinner is also fine.
Very friendly and price quality very good.

Comfortable stay

Stayed here to attend the Memoir 44 (board game) Dutch Open competition in Feb 2026. Would definitely stay here again. Clean rooms, comfortable bed and decent food at the hotel bar. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from Zeverbergen train station and it is a short walk to the town centre. You can’t ask for more at a small town independent hotel.

Very nice hotel.

The location is very nice. Near the center with nice restaurant.
The employees are very friendly, approachable, and smiling.
The room are very clean.
The towels need replacing as some are worn out.

Delightful hotel

Fantastic beds, clean rooms and super nice staff, really a top hotel! Great value, we love to come back again!
