Central Location But Before Booking Know This!

Central location but some important things to know before booking.
We stayed at Maytaq Wasin for three nights during our visit to Cusco. The location is excellent, right in the center and within walking distance to Plaza de Armas and many restaurants.
However, our first room had no outside windows, which felt quite uncomfortable and something we did not expect when booking. Apparently some of the rooms in the hotel are like this. After we raised the issue, the staff helped us and moved us to another available room, which was much better.
Another thing to be aware of is the checkout time, which is quite early compared to many hotels. This may not be convenient for travelers with later flights or plans.
Overall, the location is the strongest point of this hotel and the staff were polite, but I would strongly recommend confirming the room type and checkout policy before booking.

This hotel is a gem in the heart of Cusco. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean, the breakfast wonderful and the roof terrace with views to die for. It’s centrally located, a 2 minutes walk from Plaza de Armas with lots of restaurants nearby. Special mention to Eduardo who was really welcoming and friendly. We stayed here twice, once before sacred valley/machu Picchu and again on our return. The hotel stored our luggage whilst we were away.

Perfect stay! Excellent hotel!

Excellent hotel!! Perfect location a few meters from Plaza de las Armas, the attendees especially Eduardo of the reception and the Sole that serves breakfast are super caring and attentive. The room is comfortable, hot shower, varied breakfast. Worth super!

The location of this property is perfect. But what really makes it stand out is the incredible dedication of the staff. They are so helpful and are there immediately for any need or request you may have. I felt like part of their family. They were so kind. I will be staying there again when I return to Cusco.

Perfect little boutique hotel. Everything was great from front desk to comfortable and clean room. Location A+ and breakfast was delicious.
