Great stay option for Iquitos

The hotel is located in the historic centre of Iquitos, where you can make walking tours. It has good daily prices, including breakfast. Rooms are good, with Wi-Fi and comfortable bed. Shower water is not heated. There is no elevator, which makes it difficult for people with special needs to access.
I found the cost-effectiveness very good, compared to the other hotels in the region.

Definitely recommend

Staff was extremely helpful and kind. I felt safe here and the night time guy from front desk went above and beyond for us. The room was very clean, the ac worked fine. The TV reception dis not work but we didn't really care for the TV. The food was also very yummy!!

Wonderful hotel

We loved Macambo Hotel, the rooms were clean, we had plenty storage and AC in our rooms. The staff was very friendly and their recommendations on tours were excellent. The location of Macambo is also a plus, two blocks from the Plaza de Armas and malecón, plenty stores around and great restaurants.

We enjoy the acomodación, the location , the service and the best costumer service ever . One block and a half from the main plaza and a good rate per night, close to the airport and a lot places to eat , the Ac and cable tv was very important to me do to conference and was the best. We stay 7 days and we will return , thanks to staff and the owners for this beautiful time in Iquitos

Greta deal in the Amazone

This is surely an underated hostel because the price, service, cleanliness(their moto it seems)and close proximity to the Plaza surely would rate it better than a three star. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious as are the new beds. The breakfast(included) is always delicious and filling and has the best coffee in Iquitos! Friendly and courtious service allows you to get all the información you would need to make your visit a memorable one. By the way, I stayed here at least, fifteen weekends.
