Best hostal I visited in Peru

The staff here were so helpful and friendly here, way above and beyond the call of duty. Clean, comfy rooms, working wifi and HOT water in the shower!
The people of Pisco have suffered much but have a marvelous attitude to life, I spent 3 months in Peru but had to return here for my last night on the return leg to Lima! (and was given the same room, as requested!)
Ask for Sam if you want a guide for Paracas.
The pool is wonderful, the location quiet...couldn't fault this place or the staff.

Booked but they moved us to other hotel

The booking was done several weeks ago for one night. When arrived they said that do not have free rooms and moved us to other hostel (thank you for that). Reason was not very clear. Most probably they had a big group on hostel but it should not be our problem. Reception do not speak im English. Do not have breakfast. The hostal they moved us was not very bad but there was no pool and there were some ants. The price they took was eaqual to that we had on booking but i am not sure if the value was worth for it.

Very helpful, friendly staff

Enjoyable experience with very helpful staff. Pisco, Peru was our first stop on our 7 week trip. Percy helped us get acclimated and set us up with tours to Islas Ballestas, Paracas National Reserve, a tour at the bodega El Catador & sand boarding/dune buggying in Huacachina. The price seemed reasonable - S70 for a room with one double bed and one single bed. The accommodations were comfortable, breakfast not included. I would definitely recommend this hostal for anyone visiting Pisco or en route to a destination further south.

Lovely hostel, town still being reconstructed

We paid S60 for a double room with an ensuite. The hotel is really nice with an excellent pool, a pool table and ping-pong table and really friendly staff. We also booked our trip to Las Islas Balletas through the hotel at a good price. Breakfast's not included, but they do a good American for S10. The shower was good, the beds were comfortable and there was good wifi (including for streaming). The walls of the rooms were pretty thin but it was very quiet from about 10pm. There are a few cockrels and dogs in the morning, but after the first night we got used to it. The hotel is a 10 minute walk into the centre of town. There is still a lot of reconstruction going on post-2007 earthquake, but there are some bars and restaurants open (around the plaza and on san martin in particular) and a big, but basic supermarket (in a plaza at the bottom of the boulevard off the main plaza).
