Un luogo incantevole

Abbiamo visto il lago Titicaca dapprima nella versione Puno, caotica, poi nella meravigliosa riserva di Llachon. Qui abbiamo ritemprato mente e corpo. Camere minimali, no TV e wifi, ma pulite.
Romantica e rilassante la spiaggia sottostante.
Ottima e di prima qualità la colazione e la cena (5/6 euro).
Unico neo le tante coperte usate per dare calore all'ospite (pesano moltissimo), un consiglio ne userei una sola ma efficace.
Personale cordiale e Valentino, il gestore, eccezionale.
I migliori componenti dello staff sono Oso, una cane, Maria, una gattina e Pepe, il lama.
Lo consiglio vivamente.

Llachon and lake Titicaca are so worth it !

At first, I felt a tiny bit disappointed. The place did not look manicured, and I thought Valentin was a bit grumpy. But in the end all was very very well. We spent 3 nights at Casa Valentin. The rooms are cute, clean and you get a private bathroom, with somehow kind of too hot water. Which is good because it is very cold by lake Titicaca. With warm clothes and the blankets Valentin provides to you, you will be fine in bed, but outside of the bed, it is cold as the rooms are not heated and it is freezing outside ! Valentin and his wife and his daughter in law cook a very nice breakfast, and very nice, 3 course, copious, affordable dinners. In Llachon, you can take very beautiful walks, on the beach or up the hill (4,120m!), and also take a small boat to Taquile Island, which we recommend, it is absolutely beautiful ! You can also organize kayaking on the lake (which we did not do). Valentin is helpful and reliable. Brush up your Spanish, you are in Peru :-)

Excellent

We stayed for 2 nights and really loved it. Valentin and his son Valentin made us feel at home. When we arrived they managed to feed us as we had not had lunch. The views are superb. The food delicious. The trip organised to Uros and Taquile excellent.

Wonderful place

Capachica has been a unique experience: trails, villages, landscapes.... And the stay at the Valentine's House too, the location, the views, the treatment (especially from Jesus always attentive and helping) definitely the best choice quality/price

Freedom

We were enchanted by the welcome of Jesus and his family, we ate local food from their vegetable garden and it was really very, very good, the flavors of the earth awakened our taste buds. We went dancing with beers in hand with the locals during the carnival and no words are strong enough to describe our emotion. We were among humans on a magical and beautiful land.
It was with heavy hearts that we left in the taxi at 5 a.m. that Jesus had reserved for us.
This will surely remain one of our most beautiful Valentine's Days.
