Great and Relaxing Stay

Stayed here for two nights at the end of August 2019 with a friend to explore Peru’s Sacred Valley and ease the acclimation to the higher altitude compared to our normal “sea level” before moving on to Cusco. It was probably the nicest place we stayed in our 15 days in Peru. Herlinda and Roy were the perfect hosts during our stay. Herlinda brought fresh coca tea to our room when we arrived to help with adjusting to the altitude. They gave us pointers and suggestions on what to do for the evening, and helped us arrange for a private driver and guide each day due to our lack of Spanish/Quetchuan speaking skills. Any questions or needs they were quick to direct us or provide what we needed. They were a wealth of knowledge, help, and generosity during our stay and made us feel extremely welcome. The daily breakfast was made fresh to order at a time of our choosing and it was filling and delicious. It was a luxurious way to start the day. The room was very clean and spacious enough for two of us. In hindsight it was the only nights of our entire trip where I had a nice uneventful shower. (Other places water temperature had extreme fluctuations, lack of pressure, flooding floor, or no hot water). I would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

excellent lieu de résidence pour visiter la vallée sacrée

Nous (famille de 5 personnes) avons visité le Pérou en juillet 2017, et avons été bloqués dans la vallée sacrée à cause de la grève des enseignants. Nous n'avions pas prévu de séjourner dans cet hôtel, mais à cause des routes bloquées par les enseignants, nous avons dû modifier à la dernière minute notre itinéraire et nous sommes arrivés dans cet hôtel par hasard.
L'accueil a été excellent et nous avons passé 2 belles journées à Urubamba. Les chambres étaient spacieuses et très propres. Les petits déjeuners étaient un régal. Cela a été une de nos meilleures adresses au Pérou (voyage de 3 semaines).
Avec du recul, je considère qu'Urubamba est un endroit idéal pour rayonner dans la vallée sacrée, car les sites du Machu Picchu, Pisac, salines de Maras et Moray sont très proches.
