Beautiful resort

The cabins are amazing wouldn’t believe you are in tents. The complimentary breakfast is great, very tasty. The gardens and resort is stunning . They are so kind , offer complimentary rides to town. The spa was the best, mystical massage was the best ever.

Amazing experience

Las Qolqas was our first stop in our 2 week trip to Peru. We were greeted by Luis who was amazing!! He was very kind to help us in any way needed. He also answered any of our questions. We did the excursion to meet a local family (Juan and Elena) which I highly recommend. There, you will learn their way of life. Elena will teach you how to spin wool/the process of making a poncho and Juan will explain agriculture. Jose, who was our translator, explained everything to us in detail since we didn’t speak Qechua. He was amazing! Lastly Andre, one of the servers, was great. He always had a smile on his face and would wave to us as we passed. Everyone was very hospitable and friendly.

A unique experience under the stars

A unique experience under the stars, listening to the sound of the river.
Our stay at this eco-resort exceeded our expectations. At first, while leaving Ollantaytambo to head to the resort, I was a little worried about being away from the town, restaurants, cafés, and shops. However, the moment we arrived and heard the sound of the river, we realized we had made the right choice.
As night fell, the combination of the soft lighting throughout the resort and the soothing sound of the flowing river created a magical atmosphere that I will never forget. It was truly a unique experience.
The staff were fantastic, polite, and always willing to help. The outdoor areas were exceptionally well maintained. Our family tent was spacious, comfortable, and surprisingly warm, with heating throughout the night. It was also spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a perfect stay. Falling asleep to the sound of the river was something truly special.
The restaurant was a little expensive, but honestly, I wouldn't have wanted to leave the resort to go back into town. The food was very good, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, many of them prepared with local ingredients.
Overall, I highly recommend this eco-resort. If I ever return to Ollantaytambo, this will definitely be my first choice.
The restaurant was a little bit expensive, and I think it could offer a wider variety of dishes.

Wonderful Ollantaytambo Experience

We had a wonderful stay at Las Qolqas ahead of a 4D/3N Inca Trail trek. Breakfast was included every day and was excellent. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating and the hotel runs a shuttle from 6am - 6pm daily into town (10 min) which was was incredibly helpful.
Also enjoyed the spa circuit (sauna, cold shower, hot tub) ahead of our hike and disappointed we missed out on massages after a busy day visiting ruins in Ollantaytambo and surrounding areas.
Rooms (the tents are closer to cabins than tents which is great) were very well maintained and clean.
Be aware that you are off the beaten path so do not stay here if you want the ability to walk places, but we were aware of that going in and it was great.

Luxurious glamping

A lovely glamping experience set in nature with top class rooms. We stayed 3 nights in a family tent. Now dont mistake this for a tent, its much more than that. Comfy beds, hot shower and a clean environment. Wifi included if on a slower side in our room 4.
Breakfast was looked forward to everyday. Enough of choices to get you thru your two or three day stay.
Location is far from town center but shuttles are offered and much appreciated.
Carlos and Camila at front desk is helpful for all your needs.
We used it as a stepping point to machu pichu.
Would stay again. Look up at night and star gaze.....
