Poor.

Reservation made with 1 week in advance, 3 days before going to the place I called to confirm if everything was OK, ordered a double bed. I was told that I could check in at 14:00. Arriving at Residencial at 14.30, I could not enter because we were told allegedly that people were missing and that you did not have the rooms ready. I returned at 18h, and there began a horror movie, room with two separate beds (when I had requested a double bed) room frozen completely frozen, AC did not work had no strength to keep the room warm, tiny TV and control of the same did not work, bathroom completely degraded with toilet lid full of cigarette burns at least was this the feeling that gave. I shifted my reception to complain little or nothing was done, put a heater in the room only, requested room change had no availability. None of the photos that are here correspond to what is presented on site. The place of breakfast is not the same as in the photographs. I found a good location a good space, but super poorly managed and exploited. All very dirty, all completely dirty. After taking a bath the bathroom turned into a pond. An experience not to be repeated. Literally people are misled by the photographs that are here exposed, because we got to the spot and it's nothing like that. Business of a gentleman where the ex-wife also works there, and the same says things that are not appropriate to the business in question, trying to denigrate the gentleman. Anyway! All I wanted was a clean and warm place to sleep one night, as I saw in the photographs when I made the reservation which I did not find at all. As old as a hotel, pension or residential if it is clean and seated it is worth gold. I do not recommend at all.

Perfect for a quick stay

Located right at the entrance to Celorico da Beira and just a few minutes from the Castle, the location is excellent.
The rooms are reasonable, but the television is tiny.
The bathrooms are also reasonably priced.
Breakfast is quite acceptable. Very Portuguese... No eggs and bacon...

Cheap, Dusty and Worn Out

A small room with slightly broken wash room facilities, toilet seat was quite new looking but one fixing was broken off, my mates room also had a broken toilet seat, and the shower tray was cracked and clearly leaking. The bed was clean and comfortable, tobacco smell was evident throughout the building. My room door required me to use a key to get out but unless locked entry could be gained from outside! Breakfast was basic and table's draped with disposable paper cloths. My room was at the rear of the building and over looked a carpark with rubbish in the corner. I slept well and it was cheap.

Terrible

We made the reservation through booking, upon arrival we wanted to return to our home again but after the long journey with a child it would be an “impossible” mission.
Upon arrival, the reception area was dirty with a lot of dust and a lot of things scattered around the supposed “room” towards the room where we stayed. We immediately came across a supposedly storage room where there was a bit of everything, a reasonable room, a bathroom with cracked glass, even humidity. Every time I took a shower, the shower filled with water, the bedroom door could be seen that it had been broken into, in short, a lot of bad things, for the money that was paid... they should have done some good work on the place!
I do not recommend
