Un sitio fantástico
Me alojé en abril 2017 y se me olvidó poner una reseña. El sitio nos maravilló. Tenía de todo y mucho encanto. Nos invitaron a una botella de vino de elaboración propia. El desayuno lo recuerdo súper bueno. Y como guinda :Me dejé una camisa en el armario y me puse en contacto con la dueña que tuvo el detalle de enviarmela por correo haciendose cargo del envío. No entiendo por qué no escribí esta reseña antes. Es un sitio digno de recomendar. Dejo una foto de los animalitos que había.

To avoid during the winter
The location is good, surrounded from vineyards, peaceful, good to reach by car some of the touristic attractions. Room (Quarto de Vinha). Breakfast also is abundant and varied. BUT unfortunately this property is not equipped for winter season: when we checked the room was freezing, clearly was not used since longtime and they did not think to warm it up in advance. It took the whole afternoon & evening to make it comfortable. Yet the worse is the bathroom as there’s no heather at all: not even a portable one. Unimaginable to take a shower being so badly cold. And when we raised the point, they didn’t really care about it. Unless they set properly for the winters season, it is NOT recommended. A pity.

Nice hotel and also very nice located.there is no roomservice,for a four star hotel not acceptable at all! Breakfast before 0900 not possible the hotelservice told us,that they had a lot of guest the made a complain concerning roomservice,but they dont care of it.this is the first hotel worlwide which i know with this philosophie.

Facilities and location are NOT accurate!
We booked this Quinta as it said kitchenette and washing machine in the facilities. We even requested a unit with washing machine in our booking form on Booking.com. Neither were in our room!
The location is NOT in Fafe, but Areos. No one was there to welcome us and a neighbour had to ring someone to come!!! We were there at the check in time nominated.
It was a cold wet day and the room had not been heated. It took hours to warm up.
There were no maps or guidance to suggest eating options for the evening. We were not offered use of the communal cooking facilities others have mentioned in their reviews.
Breakfast was included and was good ,but again the room was cold!
Staff were friendly,but this is not a place to stay in the ‘off season’.
We were quite miserable and did not feel welcomed,rather taken for granted.

The "Quinta Lama de Cima" is located in the municipality of Fafe, more precisely in the parish of Arões São Romão, according to the one mentioned on the website where they made the reservation (booking.com). In relation to the kitchenette, all the units in our space have kitchenette, less the suite that you have booked on booking.com. On a next occasion, we appreciated that when booking on booking.com they paid attention to the accommodation they are booking because on booking.com the room they booked did not mention that it has kitchenette. Our space also has washing machine, dishwasher, among other services common to the whole space. To enjoy these services, in the next opportunity, please ask our staff.

No Housekeeping
Die Zimmer / Badezimmer werden nur alle vier Tage geputzt.
Ansonsten ok, aber nicht gerechtfertigt als Viersterne-Kategorie.
Frühstück kann nicht vor 9 Uhr eingenommen werden. Auf Wünsche und Reklamationen wird unflexibel reagiert.
