Best hostel in Lagos!

Thank you to Fillipa, Mata, Timo and Ana for a great Lagos experience!
Would suggest everyone to book this hostel as it is in the best location, run by the best people and extremely safe and sound for any solo traveller.
They have family dinners, breakfasts and other activities to help travelers meet each other.
After a few days, this place felt like home.

Great stop-off with excellent value

Perfect place to stop and stay for a few days. Straight away there is a really good atmosphere with communal living areas such as the sitting room and rooftop lounge area.
I stayed with my boyfriend in the apartment which was just perfect! The bed was super comfy and the shower worked really well (built in shampoo/body wash which was a thumbs up!). The bed was so comfy and we slept really well. Tip: lock the door really tightly otherwise the wind rattles it!
There is parking on the main road which is free after midnight until 9 am ( just in case you turn up late like we did !!)
We arrived pretty late but the staff member on duty was really accommodating and helpful.
There is a free breakfast included in the price and it is served in the communal kitchen.
We were really touched to get a farewell bag of water and energy bar from the hostel for our future journey.
We would DEFINITELY come back again. Great vibes and lovely staff and fab value for money.

high quality hostel at a competitive price in the center of lagos

the hostel is located in a very good position, next to the center, near the main bus station and the sea
it is really clean, comfortable and well furnished, with a good attention to details and to the design. the rooms are well organised with a big space for your backpack. The breakfast is good

Just what I needed

I came to Taghostel after a month of traveling and wanting to relax. It was the perfect place for me. The owner is incredibly lovely, inviting and treats everyone like family as is the staff. The decor is beautiful, cozy and clean. The location is also great! Very safe and it's just up the stairs from many great restaurants, coffee shops, and a 5 minute walk to the beach. I originally booked for 4 nights and have already extended my stay here.

Hostel

Grupo de 6 caminheiros (2 quartos).
Acolhimento muito bom, pessoas simpáticas e prestáveis.
Não podemos esquecer que é um hostel, um pouco antigo mas tem tudo o que necessita. Agradável.
Único ponto negativo: zona do pequeno almoço, exígua e com muito pouco espaço (sugestão: organizar os hóspedes por horários).
