Location is good (if you think about the airport)

Liked · Perfect for that quick overnight stay if you have a early morning plane. Not far from the airport.. maybe 20mns easy walking.
Disliked · There is nothing in the surroundings. Its a residential area. No groceries, restaurants, etc..

Worst Customer Service

The owner of the Guest house kicked me out of the kitchen at 12pm. The check out was early at 11am. I left the key but needed to wait 2 hours to take my flight, the owner came and asked me to leave, saying the kitchen needed to be cleaned. I asked if I could move to the living room and he said no, that I needed to leave immediately. I even suggested to pay to stay another night in order to use the shared areas and he said that was not possible. The worst customer service ever.

Well worth it

House is a 20 minute walk to airport terminal. If you have luggage, remember that like much of Lisbon, it is on a hill. Advance instructions from owner for access and breakfast were very precise and accurate. Well worthwhile if you want somewhere close to airport for a rest before a long flight.

Avoid staying here

The young man that received us didn’t helped us at all, he just gave us the key and left. The mattres is hard as rock, walls are thin as paper (you can hear loud and clear every single movement in the house) and pillows are very uncomfortable. You have to share a bathroom with other four rooms. I recommend putting a couple more euros and sleeping in an hotel.

Night before an early flight

In reference to the other one star review, they list checking in between 1500 and 1900 but you do have to book your anticipated time of arrival as the owner is not onsite. This is made very clear in the booking confirmation email and we were also rung earlier that day to check the time was still ok.
It is in a nice quiet neighbourhood and looks just like any other house from the outside apart from the tourist board logo on the wall.We arrived as planned, at 1800 and the owners representative was there a couple of minutes later. Polite with excellent English, she carefully showed us around the house and made sure we knew all we needed to know. The house is very clean and comfortable with excellent mattress, towels, toiletries and bottled water in our room. No problem for us to check out very early for our flight. Lots of nice places to eat within a ten minute walk.
It’s a 15-20 minute walk to the airport or 7 minute walk to the encarnacao metro then one stop and you are at the airport. Lots of buses nearby too.
Much cheaper than the on airport hotels! Would definitely stay here again. If it had ensuite rather than a separate bathroom then I would have given 5 stars.
