Welcoming hostess does not like the noise of children.
Put on the street in the early morning with the children, I find it unacceptable, knowing that my plane was scheduled for the next day

A warning to future guests of Lisb’ON Hostel
My partner and I had an extremely disappointing experience with this place. We had reserved and paid in full for two nights. Due to a flight delay that was completely outside of our control, we arrived the following day, exhausted after a night spent in the airport.
When we got to the hostel, the receptionist informed us that our reservation had been cancelled due to a no-show. Despite my partner explaining the situation and asking multiple times if a room was still available, the staff member was cold, dismissive, and offered no help or alternatives.
Afterward, my partner reached out to the manager, Cátia Ribeiro, who claimed they had offered us a free room. That is simply not true. No such offer was made, despite repeated requests at the front desk.
Cátia also claimed that the hostel could not issue a refund because the money was held by Booking.com. However, Booking later confirmed that the hostel still holds the payment and is responsible for the charge.
What makes this worse is that every attempt my partner made to leave a public comment about this experience on Instagram was deleted. Instead of addressing the issue, the hostel chose to silence feedback.
We were charged in full, received no service, and were met with dishonesty and avoidance. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Dirty and smelly
Our room felt dusty and humid, and the sheets didn’t seem fresh at all. Common areas were sticky, messy, and clearly not cleaned regularly.
