Hotel in Cabo Carvoeiro

Next to Cabo Carvoeiro, and a few kilometers from the centre of Peniche, is a friendly, quiet 3-star hotel with a swimming pool and breakfast service.

Poor service and poor condition of the facilities.

I checked into the hotel on June 28, and when I registered, I told the gentleman at the reception that I would be leaving very early for work the next day and asked if they could prepare a breakfast to go, and he told me no, that breakfast starts at 7:30.
Upon entering the room, I found the toilet seat broken, a worn-out mattress, and broken and dirty furniture.
So I went down to the reception to tell them, and they did not provide any solution.
Then I want to take a bath in the pool and I see that next to the pool there is a dead pigeon full of ants, which means it has been there for a while and they did not bother to remove it.
So I make the decision to leave and I hand over the key, I mention at the reception that I have paid 5 days of tourist tax and that I have only stayed one day, so they need to refund me for 4 days of tourist tax, and they tell me that there is no one responsible until July 1st who can authorize a refund.
It was a disastrous experience both in terms of customer service and the facilities have much to improve.
What a shame because the surroundings are beautiful.

Reasonable

Reasonable, friendly staff, quiet place but we were disappointed with the room and the breakfast could have a little more quality.

Good place to stay in Peniche, quiet, good access, only by car, lots of parking.
The facilities are fairly good, varied breakfast buffet option, has a very nice pool and living room with views of the lighthouse where you can see a magnificent sunset.
