Loved this hotel. It was in the historic district of Sintra and our room had great views of the mountains and some ruins on the top. Would definitely stay here again

We really loved our stay in Sintra, staff was very helpful and the city itself is magic with all the castles and gardens.
Bare in mind that Is it historical center and no supermarkets or pharmacy nearby.

I was EXTREMELY disappointed in this hotel. To begin, we were not allowed to be dropped off at the entrance of the hotel by our driver. My 80 year old mother with mobility issues had to drag her luggage through the parking garage and up a flight to check in. The hotel staff were rude. Two of our party of eight checked in with one person and were told of a breakfast special available only at check-in (they aren't breakfast eaters), but the others of us were not told of the reduced rate that was not available the next morning. Desk clerks were not at all welcoming, were cold at that. We were put in rooms that had two sets of stairs to access the rooms (beyond the elevator!) and were given rooms with a high tub that my mother could not enter. The building was dirty, and run down. It appears that the building had not been updated in several decades. There were issues that prevented other car services from picking us up at the entrance (despite my mother's mobility issues), and there was a lot of construction near the hotel. We requested that we be able to check out a day early, and there was no manager on staff to help us until 3 days later. When I was given the phone number to call the manager, the manager not only didn't answer, but never called back. I would advise against staying here. The people in Portugal are absolutely lovely, but the rudeness of the desk staff really soured our experience. That being said, the bar staff were very kind and welcoming.

Loved Sintra but didn’t like NH Sintra Centro Hotel.

The hotel was not very nice and not at all accessible as it stated. The desk staff was rude and very nasty. There was one person who was kind - we didn’t get his name but he ran the bar. We had to leave a day early and they would not refund the cost of the prepaid night. It was a very bad experience. There were 8 in our group. None of us will return to a NH hotel because of their rudeness. It was definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. The location was good. But not worth it.

Could be a good hotel but is very bad care.

Positive points large room, great gym and very good breakfast.
Negative: Very poor maintenance. Infiltration into the bathroom wall.
