Perfect place in full Alentejo
The very friendly owners, the outdoor and interior spaces decorated in perfect harmony with the area. Full of details that demonstrate that everything is done with the heart.
Breakfast also wonderful with homemade products, all prepared on time.

Excellence
Above all else, the unsurpassable friendliness, cordiality, affection and service of our hosts (Engª Maria João Mello excellent & Husband) "transport" us to a pleasant environment of complete tranquility.
The place is magnificently delightful, and you can hear the silence, interspersed with the soft sound of the wind in the leaves of the many trees on Monte.
The facilities, overall, are very good, and the experience focused on the "partridge; hare and fox" rooms. We loved the scented candles that were offered to us. These are not about details...... they are, certainly, Porgrandes!
As for the breakfast that was pampered for us, I don't have enough words to describe it. Enhanced natural foods and very well prepared, they were a delight for me and all my family members. The fantastically soft scrambled eggs stand out; the sponge cake - moist - and the beautiful tray of excellent fruits.
Remarkable!
A stay to repeat... it's unquestionable for me; and what else could I write and praise.........
I end as I began...... in the superlatives of Monte Além Tejo.... where nothing is simply good....... everything is very good or even excellent.

Spectacularly peaceful
That being said, the space is impeccable. Clean, tidy and very comfortable, both the rooms and their bathrooms, and the outdoor space is very well arranged. The pool is small but it is only for cooling off on one of those hot Alentejo summer days and not for swimming. The owners are impeccable. The breakfast is varied for a local accommodation, of very good quality (orange juice is natural and not from a packet), and with small homemade touches that make the experience much more appealing (such as, for example, the sponge cake made for them). The place is very easy to find and access is right on a national road.
Recommended (without knowing the price)
P.S: in the morning, around 8am, you have the opportunity to hear the neighbors driving a flock of sheep. They shout a little, never loud enough to wake up anyone sleeping inside the rooms, but still enough for someone to appreciate that Alentejo side ;)
