Dreadful. Avoid.

Cold, damp, unwelcoming. This “Guest house” feels like squatting in someone else’s house. There is no one there, entry is by keypad, our room was freezing cold and not enhanced by a noisy sink right next to the bed. The wardrobe was a tiny cupboard which we found by accident, there were two tiny towels - neither large enough to use after a shower - which felt damp before we used them and breakfast was cereals and diary milk only. Was there coffee or tea? I couldn’t find it. There was a fridge which said there was bread inside but there wasn’t. There was an empty carton of orange juice in the bin. Not a great night but luckily only here for one.

Most disappointed at the lack of flexibility by I take it the owner

I only gave 1 star as it wasnt possible to award nil stars
I booked an overnight stay at the Beeches on Monday 22/01 travelling by train to conclude a business matter. Unfortunately all train services from England were cancelled so it was impossible to travel. I contacted Ian at the Beeches at 08.30 am explaining that I wouldn't be arriving and due to national circumstances would it be possible to switch my booking to the following day (23/01). I had checked availability and 3 rooms were showing as available. Ian immediately refused after I'd explained the circumstances, then he tried to use the excuse that he didn't know if any rooms were available, I informed him I'd checked there were 3, he then changed tack and point blank refused.
This really is disappointing owing the the circumstances but it fair to assume that due to lack of flexibility what the situation would be if a guest experienced any problem when actually staying at the Beeches.

Cheap

I had to have an overnight stay in Aberdeen to catch a flight back home early the following Morning. Found this place in Dyce. I booked through hotels.com. There is no reception here, you receive instructions via a message a day or so before check in.
The place is clean, the room I had , had a double bed and a private bathroom with a shower.
I was in room #3 the 4way extension lead should be changed as faulty only works when it’s in a certain position.
Bed was clean.

It was really bad. Heaters didn't work properly, sink that is next to the bed made some noise and the shower didnt work

The beeches B&B presented some problems as an example: in my room the bath sink is just next to my bad and not in the bathroom and usually made some noise, my shower was not working properly and in the second night they suggest me to take a shower in the first floor in another bathroom, the heaters didn’t work properly during all days and during 3 nights (I requested to increase the temperature and they said it was a problem with the gas and suggest to me to use another mobile heater) and there is no desks in the room and in the house to work. The breakfast (I don’t know if there was this description in the website) was just cereals, milk, orange juice and some jams (I had to buy bread). As I was there for some days, I tried to use the oven, but it was broken.
