A two night stay to attend niece's wedding, excellent location with a plentiful public car park opposite. Our room was clean and tidy, well appointed with quality fixtures and fittings. A very nice friendly welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. Quality of breakfast was first class and very tasty with a good range to suit all tastes. Would stay again and would highly recommend if you are looking to stay in the area. Village had good amenities.

There was a warm welcome from the proprietor, who checked us in and showed us to our room. The tea/coffee was special with sachets of both tea and coffee from local suppliers. The Hotel has a coffee shop and all cakes, scones and bread are prepared on site. Delicious. There is an honesty bar for alcohol and other beverages on the landing. The breakfast menu once more consisted of a variety of hot and cold options prepared in house including the chefs bread.
Bampton is a great centre for walking with lots of variety and the Hotel delighted us

A perfect place for a peaceful stay.

We booked all 3 rooms for several days for a family wedding in the town. It couldn't have been a better place to stay. Very comfortable beds in beautifully appointed rooms, and the owner, Caroline, being an exceptional host. The food was also delicious, with the lemon curd biscuits going down especially well with my wife. Bridge House was the epitome of rest and calm before & after busy days of wedding preparation and celebration. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

A relaxing break in Bampton at Bridge House

Just spent 3 days visiting friends in Bampton and we stayed at Bridge House! With the most welcoming of owners!
Nothing was too much trouble, good food and a great room with a huge en-suite. The whole place was spotless superbly decorated and tastefully furnished we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.
