A Perfect Stay.
The position of Cliff House is amazing, from all areas of the bar and restaurant you can see the coast line. From the outside terrace/garden area there are far reaching views of The Isle of Wight, right around to Bournemouth, Studland and Old Harry Rocks, it’s fabulous.
The bar and restaurant were very busy throughout the day and evening, every table was booked, it just shows how popular this place is. However, it never felt busy as it is clearly very well run and staff are so organised and efficient. The service was excellent.
There was so much to choose from on the menus, a separate one for the bar and restaurant, and the food was AMAZING. We had lunch, an evening meal and breakfast, as we were staying the night. It was all so delicious, perfectly cooked and very nicely presented!
We stayed in a small double room, Dover, which was really lovely. Tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean with what looked like a newly refurbished bathroom with gorgeous toiletries. The tea tray was very well stocked and we loved the homemade biscuits, a really nice touch. The bed was super comfortable and we slept really well.
The young team here work very hard and give service to the customers. They were all so friendly, welcoming and polite. Lauren waited on our table and she was delightful, she helped with recommendations from the menu and chatted to us about the local area etc.
We had a wonderful stay for my husband’s birthday, we can’t recommend Cliff House highly enough and we will definitely be visiting again soon. Thank you ☺️

Excellent from every aspect
Visited for Dinner last night with a couple of friends and we were all very impressed .
The menu had a wonderful choice of different dishes which seems to have been put together with real thought and imagination . Everything we had was both delicious and beautifully presented. However what really made the place stand out was the staff. A really good team of attentive , efficient and friendly staff . After a little too much wine I have forgotten the name of our main server but he was engaging and funny with it and that all added to a relaxed and thoroughtly good evening.

Just wanted to give Jordon the manager a big thankyou for how hard he works and what a brilliant job he does of running the cliff house with all his amazing staff

Very busy business ( mid summer plus very hot). Beautifully situated with distant view of the Needles. Good breakfasts. Dinner spoiled by a very raucus leaving party.( ??house rules on guest behaviour ). Lovely cliff top walking area. A tad pricey for our liking, but overall a lovely place to stay for a couple of nights.

Lovely hotel in an amazing location. Very clean and comfortable. Staff are amazing and breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay here again.
