Great stay

We’ve spent four days here
And had a really lovely stay
The room was spotless, everything was clean and tidy
Breakfast had a good selection
The only downside was the the fresh orange juice, which had been diluted.
Staff members were helpful and friendly.
Would highly recommend.

Misleading parking fees and zero beding

We had a very disappointing stay at Holiday Inn Express Bath.
When booking online, parking was listed from £6 overnight. As a disabled guest traveling with a disabled child, proximity and accessible parking are essential for us. However, on arrival, we were shocked to be charged £50 for parking—a massive, unfair leap from what was advertised online.
To make matters worse, when we got to our room, there was no bed linen, duvet cover, or pillows provided for the kids' sofa bed. We had to use towels to cover them and share our own pillows just to get through the night.
Charging £50 for parking while failing to provide basic bedding for a booked family room is completely unacceptable. We won't be returning.

Still crazy car parking charges

I want to book this hotel, i used to stay here weekly for many years, but the introduction of a £50 car parking charge is so over the top, I would not pay this in Park Lane, London. I find walking very difficult and parking off site even with my blue badge is too difficult.

Low price with many negative

Booking was weird, on an online website we got a first price, then call this hotel directly to ask for something and if they can do a better price then they give me a second price saying they can always give the lowest price which was better, the day after an online website gave a third price which was even lower than the one we was given by the hotel themselves. So we cancel the previous bookings. Good walking distance to Bath centre. Parking was a rip off, £50 for 1 first night and £80 for every 24 hrs. It's multiple entry so you can go in and out but space is not guaranteed, imagine paying 80 quid, get your car for a day out and then come back to a full parking lot which you paid for. Luckily it did not happen to me. The hotel is next to cemetery and many room's window literally look out to graves. Room was good, carpeted, but only things was there was still water inside the kettle in my room. So maybe room service did not do a thoroug job. The breakfast included was good but very crowded, literally queueing to get a table then queue again to get the food. All of the staffs was helpful and friendly. Considering all of the negatives but at a pricepoint like a got I would not complain much.

I would not return

We traveled from Argentina with my husband, our son and his girlfriend, both 20 years old, we took two rooms which were comfortable and clean, but the big downside is that they don't have a refrigerator, that complicates the stay and comfort a lot. What we didn't like was the breakfast, the offering was quite poor and of low quality and another criticism is the parking, the hotel's wanted to charge us 120 pounds for 3 days so we had to leave the car we rented in a parking lot a few blocks away for half the price. Under those conditions we would not return. We would look to rent an apartment. Mercedes and family from Argentina.
