Book anywere else...

Was already anxious based on reviews I seen but I like to give a place the benefit of the doubt so i just spontaneously booked it, only communication with owner is via text message/WhatsApp, he sent us door codes for room and building which was handy, the property overall is a very basic place to stay, it should not be advertised as a B&B as its nothing more than a HMO, bedding was most definately not changed between last guest and our arrival as had to use a roll of Parc tape to "lint roll" the bed before heading to primark for new pillows and cutlery, we had a shower cubicle in our room which was convenient however the shower tray at the foot of the bed was not ideal during the night if you had to get up for any reason, you can see the place has had a lick of paint which always freshen a place up however if you look further into it you can see that there is plenty of TLC and attention to detail needed in order to make this a pleasant place to stay, location wise is very convenient but our holiday was cut short when we discovered cockeroaches in the room that was a final straw to rebook flights home ASAP until we were greeted at 3.17am this morning with someone who may or may not have been a guest banging on our bedroom door, for us then to discover the same guy asleep on the sofa this morning, Never again would I allow myself or anybody I know to spend money or time on the property

Awful accommodation, I would f be staying there again or recommend to anyone, poor very poor responses from owners

The whole accomodation wasn’t upto standard cockroaches in bedroom, no hot water for showers, back door didn’t shut properly. Bedroom window only had 1 hinge. I wouldn’t recommend this accommodation to anyone. Got locked out and said they was on way only for 1 hour to pass and still Moone turned up, luckily someone came out and we eventually got in. Sent all pictures etc to owners and nothing as a response.

Discusting

Absolutely if you want to avoid getting some disgusting disease go elsewhere honestly no breakfast cleaner looked as though she needed a good bath I've seen cleaner stray dogs on the street my friend got bitten in his bed and what a mess he was in we had to go to the pharmacy who sent him to the local hospital for antibiotics

Absolutely disgusting and horrible

I would not stay here, no matter how cheap it is. We only stayed for one night and both came out in rashes from the bed bugs. Our door was locked the cleaner who lives in the b&b next door just walks in and says nothing not even an apology .No such thing as breakfast it’s simply just a bed with dirty sheets, The sockets are coming out of the wall , the smell of damp was atrocious, The main entrance door doesn’t lock , we came back to it just lieing wide open anyone could have walked in.
When we left i had text the owner about a refund saying we had came out with rashes from the bed bugs , just got nothing back impossible to get i no touch with
Don’t go here i wouldn’t recommend , Far safer paying an extra £30 for somewhere else with a lot better hygiene standards ,
