Lovely friendly accommodating
Iam leavin this 5 star review as my experience i seen some awful reviews on this hotel seriously yes the hotel is very run down n damages but it cheap mean come on pay cheap for it we family 6 was reluctant when read all theses horrible reviews we arrived be welcomes by happy owners workers there that helped us into hotel room bit delayed being ready that ok I ask for them.make adjustments to accommodate our needs to room they did everythin we ask they helped us n our luggage into our room they all lovely friendly owners staff there yes there is homeless person drinks there but ignore here she doin no harm no damage she left us be other holiday makers there too room omg was massive I loved that room think they will be doin hotel up sure when they do price will go up rightly so there no alcohol dumped outside as people making yes it owner home when enter and receptionist but they lovely with us they helpful friendly smiling they have kids too I did have ask for towels not an issue is it ? We had tea coffee milk sugar cups in room they even lent us folks spoons gave me more tea n sugar n milk when I ask had toilet roll.in room gave me more when I asked no issues I gave them bags rubbish every day as keep room tidy they fine it if you want posh hotel pay more the room we had massive family room on ground floor it was safe secure no one broke in room there kids prb mess about by door but they are kids tell u what we will definitely be back more support help there business may find they maybe able do it up look positives not negatives for us room spacious staff lovely very accommodating helpful when checked out helped us with out luggage son wheelchair so helped get him down step they amazing yes like.say is some fault but I stayed in worse wouod never go back paid more too this hotel paid £639 sumat family of 6 for 10 nights that cheap also give u fresh bedding when u ask aswel shower lovely warm get 2 toilets in that room kids able rin round got table n chairs that room kettle cups.etc I think staff did therre best to accommodate us they lovely people all of them thankyou so much to them for bein so accommodating so welcoming we had lovely stay will be back

Book at your peril
Where to start with this review . When we arrived it was down a grotty side street ,first impressions weren't great as it didn't look very nice from outside.walkied in to chaos , room wasn't ready despite been told it would be when we got there, when it was ready we walked in and immediately saw the flaws.
The walls were disgusting and the wall paper was peeling and the windows were very dirty and barely opened 2 cm as well as the pipes in the wall made a HORRIBLE drilling noise
The TV was fairly small and in the wrong place for the bed as well as the remote not working. It is also off aerial.theres hanging wires from the TV that don't look too nice but isn't a really big issue
There were no toiletries, not even hand soap so bring your own
And you'd expect reception to be clean and tidy as it's first impressions but it had a lot of crumbs everywhere
The curtains were hanging off the curtain rails and were a little mucky at the bottom
The water situation is not ideal AT ALL. The sink had water hot enough to almost burn my hand the shower was dangerously hot so you must pick between having a boiling hot shower or being frozen. If you turn on cold water with the hot water it does nothing
There was only 1 cup and no glasses for water (had to go out and buy plastic ones)
Homeless hang around because the hotel accommodates the homeless and they all hang around downstairs for the wifi which won't work in your room and mobile data may not work
The bathroom was tiny and the toilet had a poor flushing system . There's also no step warning going into the bathroom so it's a trip hazard
If you like a lot of pillows you must request more as you get 2 on a double bed when it should (ideally) be 4
Rooms get HOT fast but it's not really their fault but we could have really appreciated a fan as there is no AC and as mentioned earlier the windows don't open much
The bed was SO comfortable but no bedside table so if you have glasses you have nowhere to put them or nowhere to put your cup or phone
The lights were VERY bright but there's no light switches near the bed.
It is in walking distance of 2 shops about a 15 min walk to the prom , it's a standard size double bed and the owner/host is lovely and welcoming if we hadn't of already paid we would of booked elsewhere

Appalling
Our experience was not a positive one unfortunately despite attempts for accommodation staff to rectify
Positives
Price was very cheap and bedding was clean
short walk to amenities
Issues:
Upon arrival at 3pm, the room was not ready and the receptionist advised the hoover had broken, she asked us to take a seat and proceeded to repair the hoover in the reception area by poking a pool cue down the pipe which resulted in all the hoover mess on the reception floor. About 15-20 mins later, we were approached and advised our room was ready.
Upon entry into the room, we noticed there were no towels, so I approached reception and asked about the towels to which she responded they are in the dryer and she would place them in the room as soon as they are ready. My partner then went to the toilet and there was no toilet roll or toiletries to cleanse hands. I returned to reception and asked if we needed to buy our own toilet roll, she apologised and said she would sort it straight away.
Upon return to our room about 11.15.11.30pm, a few things started to alarm us around the health and safety of the accommodation.
Upon entering the reception area, there were takeaway leftovers on the table and behind reception desk.
When in our room, the towels and toilet roll were still not provided and we had to go looking for these as reception was closed. It was then we began to notice more health and safety issues:
> The smoke alarm was hanging off the ceiling in our room
> There were MDF boards, linen and rubbish outside our room.
> Rubbish in the drawers of our room
> Curtains hanging off the rail in the room
> Carpet door plate in the shower edging which we could have cut ourselves on (had we been able to get a shower)
> Dirt and mould in the shower door runner
> Windows in the room were dirty
We stayed for just one night as it was late and left at 6.30 the following morning.

Great hotel and location
I would rate this place 4 out of 5
Both my family and my brothers family enjoyed ourselves here and definitely will be back. It's a somewhere to rest your head at night kind of hotel but the staff are amazing will run head over heels to help you and my boy TJ got on well with the staffs kids. We extended our stay and the staff accommodated us without any fuss. Only downfall was the parking but parking at stadium was 2 seconds from hotel and had cameras on my car for full stay.

Pictures that the hotel not real
The pictures on all the websites are completely the opposite to the actual place, I don't know if they have edited them or there really old photos of when the opened, but i have never never in my life stayed in such a ran down, dirty place , unsafe place
