The Best Birthday Gift Ever.....thank you!
We booked in this hotel to celebrate my 50th and our 25th wedding anniversary. The day before we had a lovely phone call from Jerome to wish us a wonderful stay and to inform us that he had been able to upgrade our rooms. What a wonderful surprise! This made our holiday so special. The sea view was a real bonus especially as the weather wasn't that great. On arrival we met Casey who was so helpful and welcoming. In our room we had a gift of wine and chocolates waiting to celebrate our special occasion. The room was immaculately clean with really lovely toiletries (The White Company). The tea and coffee making facilities were exceptional with a separate coffee machine and pods which we really appreciated. The room also had a fridge which was very useful. The bed was large and comfortable and considering we were on the seafront there was no noise. The location is amazing! right on the front near the lanes, so near to all the shops and seafront. The breakfast is a buffet and has a lot of choice, although my daughter was disappointed not to see pancakes....Despite this we all found something we liked. The staff at breakfast were attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. the only thing i didnt like about the hotel was the air freshener by the lift area! The smell to me was just overwhelming and unnecessary....made me feel a bit sick! sorry not a fan. Everything else exceptional thank you I will be returning

Don't miss this one out!
Fantastic room with a spectacular view to the sea. Casey and Jerome have been super friendly and helpful. The level of hospitality brings the entire experience to a new level. It's always nice to experience a joyful welcoming spirit.

Amazing experience and our waitress Jollie was fantabullous
Jollie was our waitress and she was so attentive and served us really well ☺️. She found a lovely seat with a view by the sea.

Souless concrete blob of a hotel
I normally come for work to Brighton and previously stayed at the Hotel Du Vin (which is awesome btw). Thought would try something different. From start to finish have found the place to be bland, souless and without anything that sets it apart. Given the prices they charge thought would have some 'x' factor - simple answer - nope!! Making money is their main focus. On arrival at reception - no smiles, no connection, no chat... Asked for a room with a view - got the computer says no response! On leaving asked for a 30 minutes extension as had a work call ... Was told they don't do late checkouts and if availability charged at 20/hour. Having stayed in 100s of hotels in my life... Majority have always accommodated similar requests and I've been grateful. Every call and interaction with this hotel has been robotic, inpersonal and frankly unenjoyable. Won't be returning. Over and out.

Fantastic stay
Fantastic service from Jack the Restaurant Supervisor. Such an asset to the hotel, charming, friendly and basically made what started as a disastrous day with a previous hotel booking (we walked out as it was awful) ended as such a lovely fun evening. Thank you Jack!
