Kendall Lodge

Il Kendall Lodge sorge nella zona protetta della pittoresca Burwell, a soli 13 km dalla famosa Cambridge e a 6,4 km da Newmarket. La Riserva Naturale di Wicken Fen e la cattedrale di Ely sono raggiungibili in 15 minuti di auto. Ampio monolocale completamente attrezzato con connessione Wi-Fi gratuita. Dispone di moderne porte bi-pieghevoli di 5 metri che si aprono su un'area salotto terrazzata e di una fantastica vista ininterrotta sul giardino privato e appartato, circondato da numerosi alberi secolari. Il bagno del Kendall Lodge vanta una lussuosa doccia idromassaggio con soffione a pioggia, un sedile e vari getti idromassaggio. Dal Kendall Lodge potrete raggiungere a piedi il pub più vicino in 6 minuti e un piccolo supermercato in 6 minuti. Potrete passeggiare lungo i numerosi sentieri locali intorno al villaggio o lungo il fiume.

Idyllic

Lovely Hostess Lorraine and with such a warm welcome to us.
The lodges are so clean and full of amenities.
The garden is full of birds which are so lovely to see.
I would love to return to the lodge as it was such a pleasant experience.

Great host, fabulous accommodation..,

We stayed for 1 night in lodge 2, it’s our first time glamping and was pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay again. The lodge was clean, tidy and had all amenities needed for a self catering stay. The beds were soft and comfortable, and the power shower was amazing. The grounds were clean, in a lovely quiet location and everything was easy, right through from booking to checking in and checking out. Lorraine was very accommodating having the lodge ready for us early so we could get ready for the races at Newmarket, and came to see us to check everything was ok on leaving. Overall great host, great location and lovely accommodation. We look forward to coming again.

Good price and quiet location

Lovely quiet location and saw a baby deer outside our doors.Lots of space inside and a kitchen area to cook in if you wish.Shower in bathroom. Enjoyed a peaceful nights sleep.Have to say it was cleaness place i have stayed in and the bedding smelt lovely and fresh as i went to sleep.

A peaceful short stay

This place far exceeded my expectations. In the heat, the setting was green and peaceful. The facilities in the lodge were perfect for our short stay as we like to cook for ourselves. The beds were comfortable and the shower very effective. Everything worked well and was easy to use, thanks to instruction booklets available. The Co-Op supermarket in the village, a short drive away, had a good range of foods, but I should mention that unless you intend to eat it right away, don’t buy their ice cream as the fridge in the lodge doesn’t have a freezer compartment! I also advise future guests to bring their own cafetière if they like real coffee.
The hosts of the accommodation were very friendly and helpful, and I would definitely visit again, and have recommended it to family members.

Amazing accomodation in lovely village well situated to explore Cambridge and Ely

Kendall Lodge is a lovely log cabin in a huge secure garden of the owners. The lodge itself is superb - five of us stayed there (2 adults and 3 children) and it had everything we needed. The patio doors open out to the garden which stretches as far as the eye can see and, being in the countryside, it had the addded bonus of a deer roaming around in the garden.
Comfortable and modern, from the beds, living room furniture to a great shower, we loved our stay.
Burwell is a nice little village with shops and pub - we recommend The Anchor, which we dined at on our first night there.
Cambridge and Ely are easy drives away and well worth exploring - we would recommend a boat trip from Jubilee Gardens in Ely.
The owners can't be faulted. You are in their grounds but leave you to your stay and are helpful and friendly whenever you need to ask a question or ask for some guidance on the local area.
We only stayed for 2 nights on a stop-off to Suffolk but as early as the first night we were saying that we wanted to stay longer. We definitely will in the future.
I have rated it 'not sure' on a couple of things simply becuase they are not relevant for this type of accomodation.
