Proper roast

Enjoyed a really lovely Sunday roast yesterday with my family...we all had roast beef , tender & tasty...lots of fresh veg, wonderfully big, light & fluffy yorkie!
Proper roast potatoes ( not fried)
Plenty of gravy...in a jug, more if needed.
I had a child's portion which was still substantial & excellent value.
Attentive, polite service too...Will definitely be back.

Absolutely brilliant once again

Just left after yet another great meal. Its our go too every time. Seabass always cooked perfectly and skin crispy just how I like it. Amazing job as always. See you again soon x

Absolutely Fabulous

We have been coming for a couple of years and it never fails to disappoint. The front of house staff are always friendly and the service is fabulous but most of all we come back for the food. I hope the chef and kitchen staff get the feed back because we have never been disappointed with the food, amazing ! Thank you x

Wonderful place

My husband and I have eaten here a couple of times now, both with and without the children. Always a wonderful and generous meal, plenty of specials on the boards too but the homemade pies are to die for! This little gem of a place will now be our go to when meeting family or friends.
Always great ale here, served at the perfect temperature! As someone who grew up in pubs with an interest in real ales I am very impressed by this, not many places get this right!
Beautiful well kept garden with plenty of space for children and dogs, both are welcomed which is nice. You really can't go wrong when visiting this placE.

We work hard to keep the balance right here and as you know it can be a juggling act at times lol. The pies really do sell themselves, with most people returning just for the pies lol.
