Fabulous campsite in a lovely setting

Our experience on the Bramble woodland pitch was fantastic. The pitch was a great size, big enough for a big tent and lots of space for our chairs, picnic blanket, firepit etc. so it made for a lovely peaceful setting. It is a dog friendly It was slightly more secluded than the main site which we liked. The campsite has a public footpath network nearby and we walked up to Buckland Wood from the site. The toilets and shower were good, but could have been a little cleaner but it was no issue. The owners were really friendly and welcoming. We will be returning and would recommend Kingsmead to anyone!

What a beautiful place to stay

Absolutely lovely place, such a friendly reception, easy to find we stayed in a caravan and a yurt and both were very clean, we will be back, we had the best weekend in a beautiful setting. The toilet and shower facilities are easy to access and very clean, we will be back

Camping in the woods

Very clean and tidy, friendly owners. Pitch for exactly as we wanted in the woods however still able to park nearby. Would recommend Kingsmead.

Relaxing time

A warm welcoming and very friendly staff
Clean and tidy facilities and site

Great campsite

Loved this campsite, great position, helpful friendly people, lovely walks in the woods. Weather was very kind for October and had 2 evenings sitting out around the firepit. Pub within easy walking - will come again.
