Afternoon Tea

I booked an afternoon tea for my friends birthdays. We had an amazing time. The food was lovely and plentiful and the service was fantastic with Finn and Bronagh. We were seated at the bay window and it was perfect.

Housekeeping Issues

I have to disagree with those who gave this hotel 5 stars. Our room and especially the bathroom was very small. I found some housekeeping issues: lipstick stain on one towel, found a creepy crawler inside the bathroom, the ironing board was grimy.
The only redeeming value of this hotel for me is that their staff is very friendly and helpful.

I am very sorry to read of the housekeeping issues you have highlighted. A stained towel and an ironing board that was not presented to the standard we expect are certainly not reflective of the standards we set for ourselves, and I have discussed your comments directly with our Housekeeping team.
Having spoken with the team following your review, unfortunately none of these concerns were brought to our attention during your stay. Had we been made aware at the time, we would have been more than happy to address them immediately, whether by replacing the affected items, having the room re-attended or, where appropriate, looking at alternative accommodation. It is always disappointing to learn of concerns only after a guest has left, particularly when our team would genuinely have welcomed the opportunity to put things right for you.
Our bedrooms and bathrooms do vary in size throughout the hotel, and I appreciate that the room allocated may have felt smaller than you expected. I am also sorry about the unwanted visitor you encountered in the bathroom and have asked the team to include this within their follow-up.
I was, however, very pleased to read your kind comments about our staff being friendly and helpful. Our team work incredibly hard to look after our guests, so I am grateful that their warmth and hospitality came across during your visit.

The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was top-notch, and it was just a short drive to the center of town.

God food and friendly staff.

Great hotel situated just outside Derry. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food available in bar and restaurant with choice of dishes to suit all. Good value for money, would definitely recommend.

My room was dirty and did not appear to have been properly cleaned for some time. There was an offensive sticker on the inside of the wardrobe door. Service at the bar and restaurant was very poor, I had to get up from my table on three separate occasions, once to ask for a menu, order a drink and then ask for the dessert menu.
Not a place I will ever book to stay again.
