An 8-minute drive from Edinburgh Airport, ibis Budget Hotel Edinburgh Park lies just off the City of Edinburgh Bypass and 30 minutes’ walk from Edinburgh Park Train Station.

This is not a high end hotel, but the staff were incredibly helpful, the beds were comfortable and the facilities really good. A really positive experience.

Great Location, Very Disappointing Rooms
The location of this hotel is really good and I do appreciate that staff refunded the remaining nights of our stay after we raised our concerns. However, the actual hotel rooms were honestly ridiculous and nowhere near the standard we expected.
The room layout itself was very strange and uncomfortable, with a see-through shower door directly next to the bed, the sink just out in the room itself and the toilet hidden separately behind another door. It felt more awkward than practical.
Our first room clearly had not been cleaned properly. The bottom bunk had been made, but the top bunk had no sheets on it at all and was covered in crumbs, alongside crumbs being left on the lower bed too. It genuinely looked like nobody had even attempted to clean it before check-in. Staff did move us to another room, which we appreciated, but unfortunately the second room was also dirty, with a used plaster left on the floor and a strange smell coming from the shower area.
As we had arrived around 10pm, we stayed the one night as we had little choice at that point, but we moved to another hotel for the remainder of our trip. Overall, really disappointing aside from the convenient location and staff helping with the refund.

Location is closer to airport. Tram to city centre & Hayworth train station is about 7 stops away. Big supermarket Morrisons just right across - opens till 10pm daily. Tram stop just right across. Triple Room with bed & bunk bed is really small. No room for big luggages. Only 3-in-1 soap provided.

Very clean! Space was tight for the 3 of us, but we were only there for sleeping so didn't matter too much. The toilet door slides and isn't closed at the top so doesn't offer much privacy. Also the shower door is only partially frosted and in the main living space so again, not much privacy.

Our room had a foul odor that penetrated all of our clothing and other luggage. They were unable to move us to another room. I think they have a sewer issue that needs to be addressed.
