Overall Wonderful Stay

Walking distance from major attractions. The view from my room was the castle which was spectacular .
Room they assigned me was very spacious very near to elevator, keeping single lady traveller in mind without asking. This showed preemptive service.
Both bus and train stations are very close by too.

Novotel Edinburgh

Every thing was amazing from the room and pool and most amazing Momo the beautiful fluffy dog my son loved it we all loved it.

August stay

Lovely stay at this hotel in August 2026. The lovely reception staff managed to find me a parking space on even though it was super busy.
Lovely room and nice and cool even in the hot weather was a lovely bonus

Clean and comfortable room. Close walking distance to the Royal Mile, with many restaurant options.

We had a great stay at the Novotel. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and the gluten free options for breakfast were good, and I made use of all the leisure facilities during my stay. The gym is quite small, but it had everything I needed for a decent workout. Afterwards, I enjoyed a swim, relaxed in the Jacuzzi, and finished with some time in the sauna, which was a great way to unwind.
We also ate dinner in the hotel restaurant, and the food was really nice.
If I had to mention any negatives, the sofa bed wasn't particularly comfortable, and the fridge in our room didn't keep our drinks very cold. However, these were only minor issues and certainly wouldn't stop me from returning. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend this hotel.
