Great place to stay with fantastic staff. Easy walking distance to the centre of Ely. Nice spacious rooms. We had a wonderful meal there and would definitely stay again.

Good situation to visit the increadible cathedral and village of Ely and the bed was good but I could hear the TV from next room up to 3am and the curtain really too thin to prevent the bright day light. shower was fine.

Poor Service, at best average food

Service very slow, particularly as the restaurant was almost empty. Two people who were there before us walked out. We had picked carvery and when our drinks were delivered we said we were ready and were told (with attitude ) “we will let you know when WE are ready”. There was absolutely no one being served but we were left around 25 mins before we were served. The food on the counter was there all the time - not being topped up. Choice of meat was poor - food, at best, was average. This was second experience which was not great. Unfortunately unless it improves will not be back.

Very clean. The room a little hot but supplied with an efficient fan. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk, soap, shampoo and hand cream. Ironing board, iron, hairdryer and room safe. Free parking close by.

Tv was a nightmare! Huge screen but on Tuesday I couldn’t turn it off or mute it so had a terrible night. Emergency phone number didn’t respond.
After new batteries it still wasn’t working properly. Needs a technician.
I’m an elderly solo guest so really missed the tv.
I have requested some financial compensation.
