Highly recommend!

So pleased that we booked this lovely guesthouse for our recent and well overdue visit to Harrogate. Great central location on a quiet side street within easy walking distance to town with free on street parking and wifi. Our ensuite room was clean and very comfortable with lovely touches provided such as fresh milk, chilled water and Harrogate tea and coffee bags plus delicious sweet treats. Also worth giving a mention to the cooked breakfast...wow! Cooked to perfection with top quality ingredients, it was truly amazing! The granola with fresh fruits and yoghurt was also a great start to Sunday morning.
Thank you Dan and Felicity; you have been the perfect hosts. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay and feel pretty chilled and well rested after two great nights sleep.
We would highly recommend The Franklin and will definitely return.

Excellent value for money.

As a coeliac I have to be very careful when eating away from home.
Not only did they provide a delicious full English gluten free breakfast, they even gave me some gluten free biscuits for our room.
Other lovely touches are a mini fridge in the room with bottles of water and fresh milk, instead of the usual long life milk (which I hate).
A really good location with free parking on the road (permit provided)
I found the bed really comfortable.
We stopped on a day that was 35° so I was dreading a hot sweaty night. I was really pleased that they put a separate sheet under the duvet so we didn't have to use the duvet and an electric fan. I slept really well.
The really thoughtful gestures show how much effort they put into looking after their guests.

Lovely stay

Our 2nd stay at The Franklin was for 3 nights. Lovely hosts, fantastic breakfasts and free parking. Great location to the town. A lovely stay.

Super family run hotel in Harrogate

We had a lovely stay at The Franklin, superbly looked after by Dan and Felicity. Great location a short walk from the shops and bars in central Harrogate. This is a family business and Dan and Felicity were super helpful and friendly, and definitely go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. The breakfasts are very good. The hotel is on a quiet tree lined street. Parking is on street and is free with a windscreen sticker supplied by our hosts. We would definitley book again.

Lovley city break

Such a lovley family run hotel.
The value was very good for Harrogate
Breakfast was really good
The place has loads of character and the owners are great
The location is fantastic
