Impeccable service

Went for lunch amd the food and service was impeccable. Highly recommend as the value for money could not be completed by any other local food place.

Didn’t stay, not able to move booking or receive any credit.

Not sure that the property registered that I wasn’t staying even though I cancelled 36 hours before. I asked for a change of date or some credit for a future booking but was told, As per booking terms and conditions, this was not possible. I will be unlikely to book again because of this. I think the property has missed an opportunity to encourage me to have a positive experience at this hostel.

Depending where you booked it, if you booked it through our website you can call customer service to change and amend a booking as we don't change booking through the hostel directly anymore. If you booked through booking.com or expedia then we can't change the date or move the booking unfortunately as these are the terms and conditions. Hope this helps. Thank you.

Easily accessible, warm and friendly greeting. Beautiful building and room was clean, comfy and perfectly fit for purpose.
Didn't go down for breakfast so cannot feed back on that but a fabulous comfy stay overnight for an incredible price! Will definitely stay again and look into more hostels around the Country. Thank you

Would highly recommend

Would highly recommend YHA Hartington - in a fantastic location, comfy beds, mix of facilities, lots of places to chill, and great onsite food/drink. Fantastic way of keeping travel accessible to all. We went to Luds Church, Thors Cave, Mam Tor, Chee Dale, and Dove Dale. All within 30 mins drive. Would recommend bringing sliders for shower and pen/label for food.

great place to stay

The building and location could not be better. a wonderfu historic building makes for a relaxing time. Room and bathroom was clean and comfortable. the all-you-can-eat breakfast for £10.95 was great .and my son eat for a £1
Staff are first class, nothing is too much to make your stay pleasant.
never tried the YHA hostel before but I will again
