This is a lovely venue in the heart of Howarth with great access to the local amenities. The accommodation is clean and beautifully presented and the staff and attentive and helpful. Our stay included breakfast which was excellent. Parking is a problem overnight but this is the only issue and did not spoil what was an excellent stay overall.

A great stay in a charming GUESTHOUSE

Having read a couple of very negative reviews, we approached this trip with trepidation. I can only speak as we found as say we had a great experience. We booked an attic room fully appreciating it would have T falls. The decor was quirky and fun and the room was very clean. Bed was comfortable, yes very clean towels were a bit worn but I’ve had worse in a Travelodge. The T falls in the bathroom were a challenge for my tall husband but the shower pressure was great and plenty of hot water. The TV reception was great and plenty of room tea and coffee supplies. Breakfast menu was comprehensive, we had full English and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, both delicious, served by the friendly Janet. Throughout the decor was great and I couldn’t find any cobwebs as reported in previous reviews. All of the rooms seemed to be taken, so I exhort others to please leave a realistic review of their experience. Please appreciate this is a guest house not an hotel.

Booked for two nights b & b. No one around initially at our arrival but very quickly let in by someone and our room key with instructions for finding our room were provided
Room on 2nd floor and was beautiful. Big en suite, everything you could need. Comfortable bed, generous drink making facilities in room.
Couldn’t connect to wifi on 2nd floor. Could as we went lower down in the building.
En suite toilet was saniflo system so quite loud briefly when flushed.
Breakfast fabulous quality, dining room beautiful in keeping with age of building and dining room was transformed on the night to the Slow kitchen bistro which we ate at one night and was excellent.

This is my second stay in this beautiful accommodation. The room was perfect, the breakfast excellent, the location so handy, and the car park close by. Don't miss an opportunity to stay here!

Great value, perfect base

I read a lot of reviews and to be honest was regretting my decision but we went ahead .
I am glad we did.
Ok it's not the 4*boutique it's described as but it's pleasant enough.
Room was huge, towels were big and fluffy, contrary to many reviews on this.
The bed was softer than we'd have liked but we survived.
We sampled the Slow food kitchen that now rents the restaurant on the weekends, that was amazing and great value.
Breakfast was good,hot and fresh.
For me the location is it's selling point. Not just at the bottom of Main St but Haworth is perfectly situated for seeing West Yorkshire easily.
We packed in a lot in the 4 Day stay .
