As expected but a little more.
You know what you're getting with a Premier Inn which is why the 2 nights we were there it was virtually full. Location wise it was perfect for the wedding we attended, visiting Beverley and getting back over the bridge. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast decent too. Ok, its not luxury, but its clean, our room was spacious and despite the location very quiet. However....what did it for us were the amazing, friendly staff who were helpful, chatty and had smiles on their faces exuding in the great Yorkshire hospitality.

Great stay
Stayed here on a Friday night as attending a local parkrun.
The receptionist (sorry didn't catch your name) was super friendly and helpful.
Rooms very clean.
Plenty of free parking.
The onsite restaurant was getting a makeover so unfortunately closed.
Would stay here again

Time for a facelift
My wife and I stopped at the Premier Inn, Hull West, to attend a concert close by. For this, the location was ideal. I remember this hotel being built +30 years ago and although I am sure it has had several refurbishments, it is sadly looking it's age and could do with a facelift which must include the installation of HVAC. One particular gripe is the fact that the adjoining 'pub' was getting a makeover with builders machinery onsite and with barriers erected etc., it looked exactly what it was: a building site! It also meant that we couldn't get an evening meal onsite. Whilst the pub isn't part of Premier, it would have been nice to have communicated this prior to the booking.
To end on a +ve, the staff were great and did all they could to make the stay as pleasant as possible.

Lovely staff, great stay
Lovely stay at the Premier Inn Hull West. Check-in online was easy and the receptionist on arrival was so friendly. We were a bit worried about there being no aircon with bring in the middle of a heatwave so brought a fan with us. However, it was lovely when we went into our room and found d a big fan already in there and switched on for our arrival.
Breakfast was lovely and all the kitchen staff were so friendly and pleasant, even going out of their way to scrambled eggs for my husband and bring them to the table separately after he’d asked for them and they hadn’t heard him the first time.
Thoroughly recommend and would stay again

Way too hot
Unable to sleep due to exceptionally high temperature (30c), with windows that don't really open. Staff are nice but the good nights sleep guarantee doesn't mean anything. Can't recommend.
