Tranquil setting

Beautiful farm and exceptional hosts. Elizabeth was a very relaxed host and nothing was to much trouble. We arrived late on Sunday evening and she pointed us in the direction to get food. We are it in the breakfast room which was lovely of her. It's super quiet and peaceful and a great place to recharge your batteries after a long trip.
The breakfast was a selection of homemade bread, fruit, yoghurt and orange juice. We also had a delicious cooked breakfast. I would recommend and definitely stay again if we were visiting that way.

A lovely little CL perfect in every way just what we like

We have just arrived at Rye Hill Farm Campsite, we had booked for 3 nights and paid via phone and the lady said just to find a pitch and set up, when we arrived Toby was driving the tractor and took time out to come and ask if there was anything we needed and explained where everything was, also Fran came around and talked to everyone who had just arrived which was really nice of her as I am sure she would have been busy. What a lovely little site, such a nice atmosphere, couldn't ask for anything more everything you need is here toilet's shower and an area inside the toilet to wash dishes all very clean. Really good value at £25 night with Electric £20 without I am sure we will be back, so refreshing from the larger sites which are not our cup of tea.

Wonderful Rural Retreat

Having been to the campsite before we booked the cottage for the extended family for our son's wedding at Healey Barns. Ideal location for wedding venue and local visits. I can honestly say this is the best rental accommodation we have had. Spotlessly clean, cosy with ample space. Fabulously equipped kitchen. Other than the wedding, the highlight for our grown up children was getting to feed the newborn lambs. Not sure if lambs will ever have been photographed being fed by a kilted groom's party before. Thank you to Elizabeth and her family for making us feel welcome and being so hospitable. Would highly recommend.

Lovely Stay

We were attending a family wedding at Healey Barn this weekend and decided to stay here. We travelled from Norwich. As soon as we arrived Elizabeth was very welcoming. The room was spotless and nice & warm (it was a cold winters night). Nice sitting area too with lots of local books & maps.
I booked our room a few months ago and Elizabeth kindly helped with a local taxi number for the wedding venue, plus she had no issue us arriving late into the evening - a long way from Norwich!
Breakfast the next day was lovely & very homely.
We nipped into Hexham too first thing on Saturday as only a 10 min drive.
Lovely place, fantastic host, highly recommend.

Little Gem

What a gem this place is! Beautiful location. We had a family room. The beds were very comfy and the ensuite and room were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice. The location is ideal for exploring, our trip was to explore Hadrian's Wall. Our host was very knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
