First class recommend 100%
Spotlessly Clean..
Not a speck of dirt or dust that my partner and I could see.
Lovely, comfortable bedroom.
Which included a bath, which we both enjoyed, as we only have a shower at home.
As a finishing touch, you are given a few homemade biscuits, aren't they delicious !!!!!

Cramped, cluttered room. Indifferent staff.
Booked a two-night stay in a double room for £259. The room was extremely cramped, with very little space to move around the bed. The photos on the website appeared to have furniture removed, giving a misleading impression of the room’s size. The ironing board, fridge and dressing table were all squeezed into the limited space.
There was nowhere to put our luggage except in the bathroom, and we also had to store the ironing board there to avoid tripping over it.
The staff were indifferent. I requested to be moved to a larger room as the hotel appeared to be only half full. They agreed to move us, but only if we paid extra. What happened to a goodwill gesture when the hotel was clearly under-occupied? Overall, the room was poor value for the price paid, and the customer service did little to improve the experience.
There was nowhere to put our luggage except in the bathroom, and we also had to store the ironing board there to avoid tripping over it.

The room you booked is one of our King rooms, which is our smallest room category and is reflected in both the room description and the rate you paid. At £259 for a two-night stay including breakfast, this represented one of our lowest available rates.
We appreciate that guests' space requirements can vary, and we're sorry you found the room too compact. While we were happy to offer you the opportunity to move to one of our larger room categories, these do carry a higher nightly rate due to the additional space and upgraded facilities.
We're disappointed that you felt our service was indifferent, as this is certainly not the experience we aim to provide. We do appreciate your feedback and will take your comments on board as we continue to improve. We hope you might consider staying with us again and trying one of our larger room categories in the future.

Perfect hotel to stay at.
Hotel is perfectly situated with beautifully designed rooms and clean appliances. The staff are very attentive. Food is good. Breakfasts are superb. Cannot really fault anything about it. Will definitely return. Thank you.

Fabulous, clean and spacious rooms.
We have visited The Crescent several times over the years, it has always been clean and comfortable with spacious rooms and with a good Breakfast included at the Bistro Pierre restaurant. The last few visits we noticed the rooms were getting a little tired and it was in need of attention. This visit we were very happy to see the needed work been done. Our room looked fabulous, and was as clean and comfortable as ever with little treats in a lovely basket and mini fridge (some complimentary, some to pay for which was made clear to avoid confusion) The Bathroom is very clean with a shower over Bath (this may differ from room to room) and toiletries are provided.
I was very happy with our visit and look forward to returning on our next visit to Ilkley.

Very pleasant in every way
We stayed here for two nights in order to attend a celebration locally. I telephoned before arrival as I was aware that there is no parking and was given good and accurate advice as to dropping off our luggage and how far I would have to walk for free on street parking.
Although there is no formal reception desk the staff present on our arrival were most helpful and this was no exception as I found all members of staff to be friendly and helpful throughout our stay and it would be the case that they made us feel welcome all of the time.
The room was recently decorated and was furnished to a good standard and any minor requirements were dealt with so that I never felt anything other than a desire from staff to help.
We had dinner with friends one evening and this was a very enjoyable meal prepared to a good standard.
The breakfast choice was very good and enjoyable.
There is no lift and there are stairs to climb and as mentioned there is no parking so some will be put off by this but I would have no hesitation in staying here again.
It is only a shame that an emergency in our home meant we had to leave a day early.
