Fantastic experience

Fantastic hostess, high service, helpful, and warm-hearted. If you want to indulge yourself and your partner/spouse, visit Rachel and her lovely place. It is such a beautiful and peaceful lodge, and the breakfast and afternoon tea are the best we have ever experienced!

Fabulous in every way. We will return for sure

Rachel and James were exceptionally friendly and made us so very welcome. They run a wonderful establishment which is immaculately clean. Our room was extremely comfortable and we had access and use of a great lounge and kitchen. Lovely open fire which is the colder weather was just what we needed. The decor is in keeping with the tradition of a hunting lodge and we really knew we were in Scotland. Fabulous start to our holiday. Would be giving 10 stars if only I could.

Exceptionally delicious breakfast in impressive lodge with lovely hosts!

Our stay was an experience only known to us from movies. At our arrival Rachael warmly welcomed us and invited us to tea and cake in the common room to enjoy the big fire. We had a joyful time getting to know another couple
who also stayed as guests. We were even invited to try some wine and whisky. After a good night sleep in a lovely restored room with eye for detail and a luxurious ensuite, we enjoyed the best breakfast of our entire holiday - and we had a lot of yummy breakfasts on our journey. Freshly baked bread, a great variety of fresh fruits
(including strawberries and blueberries) as well as home-made granola and jams and a great offer of cooked Scotthish breakfast which was also exceptionally good, and all individual wishes were met happily.
We were truly sorry we had only booked one night and plan to be back as soon as we'll be in the area again.
A huge thanks to Rachael and James - our stay with you will remain in our best memories!

I wish I could give a 10

There are b&bs and there are places you can visit where you are treated as a special guest in somebody's home. Rach and James give this unique experience of a hunting lodge for a spectacular highlands estate, designed for modern guests 3 miles down a small lane from the A9. If you can get a reservation, book it and enjoy it. You can park your car and not leave

Feels like Hogwarts

Totally outstanding place in all respects. Definitely going to return for so many reasons. We were met on the gravel by the lady owner (didn’t ask her name). She was very warm and welcoming. They stored our bikes. Made tea and cake for us. Washed and dried our dirty kit. Offered us free wine and whiskey. Fire on all the time. Room totally fab with excellent en-suite.
Breakfast was out of this world!
