Brilliant!

Went with family and booked 3 rooms. Amazing from start to finish. Booking was simple via the hotel, rooms were gorgeous, specifically our which was a deluxe room. The house itself its gorgeous, and breakfast was lovely. Was greeted with a lady who was just lovely. We'll be booking again in we're in this neck of the woods.

Irvine, Ayrshire - the bolt hole you need.

I was in Irvine to attend a friend’s combined landmark birthday and retirement party.
Trusted word of mouth led me to this lovely, hi spec and welcoming place.
Owner Jamie and his Mum Diana, leave nothing to chance, and this traditional building in a quiet but central location, was ideal.
My room had been modernised to a high spec, tea, coffee etc available in room, which also had ample plug sockets, safe and iron.
The comfortable downstairs lounge retains lots of character and interest, with an honest bar for those in need of refreshments.
Fast & free wifi for those in need, plus the multi-optional and in my case full Scottish cooked breakfast was a treat in itself.
Many restaurants etc are a 10 minute walk away on the flat, no climbs, steps etc.
Easy car access from main bypass, and equally easy the other way to the Harbour and beach.
If you’re looking for a base to explore the Clyde Coast, Burns’ Country, or the magical Isle of Arran, this is the place for you.
I’m well travelled over the years and often it’s a challenge to write a review as positive as this.
In this case, it could have written itself. Go and try for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

What’s not to love

As soon as we walked through the door we knew we would love it. Beautiful house and immaculate. Diana was very welcoming and the breakfast was very enjoyable James couldn’t do enough. Will definitely return when we visit family. Very happy customers.

Well that was a nice short stay

Well where do you start, I stay away a lot with work, and thought it will do just another B&B the hotel a work colleague was staying in was full, it was close to the hotel, it will do.
How wrong can you be, just small things, go for breakfast and someone at the desk says “good morning Andy you OK” as though I’d known him for years, the rooms or mine was spotless and fine for me, due to my company policy it was booked though a second party that didn’t include breakfast, and when checking out I asked about the breakfast, they said “oh it’s fine don’t worry about it” I had to insist to pay, and what a breakfast it was.
Would I stay again, most definitely, I wish I could attach pictures, it’s one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in staying away from home in 30 plus years.
Down stairs, a large lounge and other rooms to sit in if you don’t want to sit in your room.

Great place to stay

Was looking for one night emergency accomodation while on business. It was late on Saturday night over a bank holiday weekend, so not a hotel to be had!!! Eventually found Braidmead and liked it so much, I cancelled my hotel for the following week and booked in here. Everywhere is spotless, rooms are comfortable and well looked after. Diane can't do enough to make you feel welcome and made me a generous packed lunch every morning as I wasn't staying for breakfast. I'll definitley be back next time I am in the area.
