Booked hotel during a golf break in Fife and was not disappointed with the recommendation for the hotel.
Would definitely go back to this hotel if I'm back in the area for family or boys golf trip

Wouldn’t stay again

When we arrived, the hotel looked lovely. The reception area and bars were beautifully presented, and the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, our room was a huge disappointment. Although the décor was nice, it was in need of refreshing, as the paintwork was covered in marks. The carpet also looked as though it hadn’t been vacuumed in quite some time, and there was an unpleasant smell in the bedroom, almost like damp.
The bathroom was particularly disappointing. There was a bogey stuck to the tiles, which I took a photo of, and it was still there when we checked out. I found this absolutely disgusting. The shower head looked as though it hadn’t been properly cleaned for a long time, and there was visible grime around the taps and overflow hole. The bathroom floor also didn’t appear to have been vacuumed or mopped recently.
During the night, we became very hot and wanted to turn on the fan. However, when I saw the amount of dust covering it, it made me feel sick. I would rather have stayed hot than breathe in all that dust.
It’s such a shame because the hotel has so much potential. The communal areas were lovely, and the staff were wonderful, but the lack of cleanliness completely ruined the stay for me.
By the end of our visit, all I wanted to do was get home, have a shower and finally feel clean.

Far away from downtown Edinburgh but it's a nice stay of you have a rented car . Good value for your money.

Everything about our stay was great here. We had a nice beer in the bar, and our room was quite spacious. The staff was all friendly, and the shower was quite nice.

Ample parking with EV charging stations
Easy to get into Edinburgh city by train
Highly recommend
