Very good for nights out

Ignore the bad reviews this is great central Liverpool accommodation, the room was clean and tidy with very good facilities. The downside is the check in times which are limited and waiting around at the entrance is frustrating. I was on the front of the building and if you are looking for a good night's sleep in a quiet location this isn't for you, the clubs do play music late / early morning, this was great for me as I was one of those out

do not stay here

We were really disappointed with our stay at Terlon Apartments. This was not what we booked at all, and we weren't offered any kind of discount or refund despite clearly being downgraded. The apartment had a strong chemical smell throughout, there were damp patches on the walls, and it was nothing like the photos online.
We specifically paid for a room with a view of the Cavern Club - one of the main reasons we chose it - but they couldn't even provide that. The staff were polite enough, but when we raised our concerns they refused to do anything about the room, which is honestly a joke considering we paid £175 for one night.
Really not worth the money. Wouldn't stay here again and definitely wouldn't recommend unless they sort out these issues out.

The pictures on Expedia were not accurate! Once we checked in and went to the room and saw that the room was not clean and the bed was an old concave mattress with springs coming out, we wanted to cancel our reservation and leave. We stayed one night to be nice and looked for another room. Expedia helped but we still need to be reimbursed for the 3 nights we did not stay. The following day we showed up to speak to the manager and saw that the room was rented out. Hopefully they will accommodate us but we still haven’t heard from them.

There are 3 reason for the lower rating. The main one was the noise. The apartment overlooks the cavern which is surrounded by nightclubs. The room aren’t soundproof so you can hear all the music from the club/pubs up to closing (2am). This made it impossible to sleep until 2am. If you aren’t looking to go out late in Liverpool then this will be an issue. The second issue was there was no phone signal in the room - so I was unable to make mobile calls. Thirdly, the WiFi was very poor.
The room did look like the photos. They were fairly clean and tidy. The listing is false in terms of the free soap etc these where not provided. The apartment is centrally located and all staff were very pleasant.
Sadly, the main issue is the noise otherwise I would have gave a 4/5. This needs to be mentioned on the listing!

Strayed for 1 night. Lifts were out of order and stairs are steep and never ending was told all lower floors had gone down had to go on 3 rd floor which in reality is 5th floor as you have to go up 2 floors to get to reception. Room was basic. Needed to use the iron which although was cool temp burnt a hole in clothes as the iron itself was scorched black.. room across from us had a Swartz sticker on the door (reported this to reception who tried to say they didn’t understand what the emblem represented) the sign was not removed. On leaving the apartment I realised I’d left a new dress and jeans behind (100% left in the apartment) contacted the apartment to be told items not found by cleaners
