Awful, Expensive and EXTREMELY Stressful!!!
The service was terrible & the property didn't meet the minimum standards for a stay never mind what was advertised.
Our booking was originally to stay in Camden for the weekend but was advised the night before travel that the property was no longer available & they could relocate us to a new property but it would be 20 minutes away in Golders Green.
This was a massive inconvenience us as we were staying near friends for the weekend & was going to see a play. We reluctantly accepted as there was no more properties in our price range for the area as the London Marathon was on.
We got to the property after a 4 hour trip only to find the property was incomplete & not ready. The apartment was 1 room, no toiletries, no refrigerator, flat screen TV didn’t have channels (never mind streaming), no washing machine & we didn’t have hot water. We spoke to the host who told us he couldn’t do anything until the morning at 10am. I had to therefore go out at 11pm at night in a strange area to find toilet roll so we could use the toilet. The food we bought for the morning had to be thrown as well as there was no refrigerator to store this.
Next morning at 10.20am we finally had someone to come sort the hot water & give us a towel, which we were only given one towel. We were meant to be with our friends at 9am for something we booked & missed this with them.
We then received a call at 1pm to be told they needed our property for someone else & was moving our belongings to another. We had to travel over an hour & half from the side of London we needed to be on for a theatre play, pick up the keys & then travel back. 3 hours WASTED!!! The new apartment had no blinds so let the sun in. We awoke at 3am & couldn’t wait to get out of there!!!
